Have any of you caught the show Dangerous Grounds? I saw the one were they go into Bolivia looking for an indigenous varietal of coffee, and secures 40 Lbs with a napkin contract. Cool Show.

Just watched the Borneo episode were he goes looking for the Iberica bean something never seen in the US. Translates to the elephant bean, because it the largest coffee bean in the world

I've tried to watch it a couple of times and then I saw the Haiti show and the guy just COMPLETELY pissed me off. Just completely. Maybe I should give it another chance. :dunno:

Hello Dr. Purpur, :tiphat:
the "late night d oeuvre" looks very, very delicous! Did you wrapped the "Frankfurtes" in the bread?

This is what I made quick in the night before some years. Vegetables found in the fridge, parmesancheese nothing special, but the balsamic vinegar or raspberry vinegar was fantastic.

The beat goes on, dinner from yesterday. Sorry about the picquality, with flash it´s to bright, without flash it´s to dark.

We had filet of chickenbreast, roasted pineapple and a (rice) risotto with coconutsauce, vegetablebroth and chives.

By the way, for x-mas, I´ve orderd a cookingbook of Jamie Olivier, he is famous in europe, don´t know in the states, with recepies from Italy.

Herman, yes Jamie Oliver is famous here too. Here's dinner from a couple days ago. It finally got cold here, so I went with something hearty. Pot Roast with red potatoes, onion, carrot, celery, parsnip, turnip, and rutabaga. Served with some nice crusty bread that I poured gravy on. Yes, I eat like a fat guy.
