Food Coloring

What happens if you add food coloring to the water you feed your plants. Do the buds/leaves change colour or does it have no effect?

There is blue dye in Jack's Hydro Pro and CaNO3. Nothing changes color.

I've been using Foxfarm solubles for a while. Lots of artificial color but imparts none of it to the plant.

nope nothing will make it change colour apart from lowering temps to get purpple hues or using cold water near chop not really worth the bother
