THe Floranova Bloom I add to my water drops the Ph all the way down to 5.8. That might be OK for hydro but for soil? Other than the Floranova, I'm going organic and dont want to kill microbes so..
if I bubble the mix for a couple of days it gets alive and raises the Ph good for soil, but if I dont have time to aerate it, I've been adding Ph-up to get it around 6.3.
Question:Is adding Ph-up to artificially raise the Ph good or not-so-good for the micro-herds that are already in my soil? I've read where some people don't even check Ph for soil watering (apparently so the soil microbes sort it all out amongst themselves) and also a few out there that don't check Ph with Floranova because it has a 'buffer'. But that 'buffer' seems to be for hydro applications.
