If you are going to reuse the coco: After your harvest flush the coco with water that is pH 5.8 or lower. Check the pH of the runoff and keep flushing until you can get the pH down to around 5.8-6.0.
hi ministro- nice grow on your 1st coco. i am also experimenting with coco right now, they just got transplanted to canna coco. what are your nutes line up?
Coco will act as a buffer and drag the ph towards 6.0-6.3. I use 5.8 for feeding and my understanding is that the lower ph will be slowly on the increment allowing different micronutrients to become usable as it rises. You don't want a totally static ph ideally.
