First micro grow what would you put in the amount of space I have?

Hi all, this is going to be my first micro grow and my second indoor grow. I have a space that is 58"long 2' wide and 44" tall I may be able to go taller if I need to. It is in a closet so I am going to have to build a enclosure. Im not worried about the smell. Id like to cut the space in half or in 3 parts and veg/clone in one area and flower in the other 2 so I can harvest as much as possible. Lastly, I need to keep it rather inexspensive!

What setup would you use if you had the same amount of space? What light?
What method (its between LST and SCROG)?
What ventalation?
Im probably going to go with organic soil mix but im open to suggestions.
I have some strains in mind but im open to suggestions on strains that would be good in a small area.

Thanks for all your help!

I suggest making a "tent" out of a roll of panda film, which is black on one side and white on the other that's 90% reflective (I got a 10'x50' roll for $30.00) and some 2"x2" ( Do you have any woodworking skills, this would require only the most basic tools and skills) frame a box with a door ( get some door hinges) and staple on the panda film to the frame add ventilation, you can use the panda film to create an inner flap to light proof the door. Ill let the experts talk about style and ventilation but the panda film tent worked for me in the past. good luck

I use CFLs in a similar space and divide into three small cabs. Produces well for two daily smokers. I recommend LST if you have the time to adjust the plants to allow for daily max light exposure. A few fans keeps the system cool.... nothing fancy

Ive never used cfls for flowering, how well do they work? How many(what is the wattage?) do you use in a small area like 2Wx2Dx4H?

yeah try LST...or if you don't have the time to wait on it, grow some little indicas.

Definitely scrog over lst.

What's your limit on funding for equip?

Personally if I could do anything with that space I would stack a couple 250 watt'ers and do a vert scrog. Might be a wee bit tight cause you only got 2' width, but certainly doable and you'll get get great yields.

I'm personally doing a scrog with a Badboy T-5. Just over 400 watts. It's 4'x2'. Would fit perfectly in your closet actually heh.

Funny that you say that, the local gardening stores selling a used badboy for 250$

Id like to keep it down to 200-300$ so most of the money will be going towards the light.

most will go twords the light anyway. take the extra 50 n grab some decent comp fans to keep it cool and circulating. i picked up a new 400watt hid setup for $200 (ballast/bulb/reflector) at a local hydro shop. its gona go ina amoir aprox. 3'w x 4'h x 2'd. as scrappy said that light would fit ur space and u would only need 1 so it would prolly be easier to cool and cheaper then stacking a few hids in there and cooling them.

Im gonna go with a 400W in the flowering box and cfls in the veg. Can anyone recommend a cheap inline fan that I can use for ventalation, im gonna run the duct work through the light.
