WAMEN..we are just trying to identify Which of the WR phenos is the most afghan dominant aren't we.
There is no doubt looking at those plants that they are % genetic wise very afghan dom.. we are just fine-tuning..
because..at the start of this grow..I was going to hybridise the maz/lown cross for the DC/ALF cross.
(Mazar x lr X Lownranger gives us the 2 afghans in the line..when we do the DC it adds a 3rd.. 3 different afghans in the one cross..
hence..Afghan Little Fuck..)
Well..I think we were maybe a bit under-ambitious...
That bad germ at the start of the season left me with only 1 maz/lown..
and it is a girlie..a very nice girlie..a very nice afghan-y girlie..
(sub-frame and colouring like the WR#1 pheno...)
check out the buds shape..branch placement..under side colour..
On the re-germs..I have 6 WR's..so the chances are I will get one male at least..
if I arranged a match with the WR male and the Maz/lown female..
we would Have a 3 x afghan AF cross.. :jawdrop:
rising to 4 with the DC cross..
What do you think..
my head says I would be daft to miss the opportunity..
That is her in the far right corner..and the re-germs.
They are a lot younger..but LR dom males flower fast..so with a bit of luck and a tail-wind..I should be able to catch her before she goes over.
Skunk#1.
Skunk #1 is the first stablized hybrid developed for indoor cultivation and dates back to the 1970’s California region. Skunk #1 has a heritage of Afghani, Mexican gold and Colombian gold. It was brought to Europe in the early 1980’s and plays a heavy role in the ancestry of any modern indoor strain. This plant has a great consistency of generating a good strong punch with a great skunky sweet taste. Skunk #1 will take a lot of abuse and performs well both indoor and in a greenhouse.
I have been sorting out the non-af's for my m8..so I get the tent clear for the overflow.
I have 6 each of your crosses..which is no probs..but..
because I had germ probs on mine..I overgermed..and they all worked..
Managed to get some pictures done today.
baby is home and well!!!
I would say we have about 5 weeks left but i think i will give these 6 weeks as they seem a little slower on the taller pheno but overall there okay
Well..that was a nice surprise..
Frosties for breakfast...
Looking Good my m8..looking good..
That wardrobe is a little treasure chest.
What approx height do you have on them..
18-24 inches on the AK's and about 12inches on the blue streak..
The blue streak look as if the height is lifting..but I am not sure if the frosting is creating the illusion.
I am with you on the extra time for the AK's...no problem with them..but they just seem to be a few days behind at every stage..they move slower.
I was going to say..I will watch you do it and go with your results..but..
I think I will be taking them off at about the same time.
6 weeks..pollenation to seed harvest..plus a few extra days to combat the cold night temps..should make us harvesting around the same time.
I have a two way colour split on the JEM purple males..
matching the female split.
you can see the two males on the right are a lot softer coloured..
this is his matching female.
this is the darker male and his matching female..you can see how this one got the nick-name Black indy..can't you... from above..it looks black and white.
the two on the left are the block colours..hell of a difference..
see the red in the soft one..
This is the little WR that they have been sprinkling into..
All the colours are now in that cross...just a question of matching them up as they appear.
I was going to leave the WR in the tent with the males a bit longer..but she has developed a mold patch..conditional..I have hit a dank patch.
So I got her washed off to kill any remaining pollen..and she is back under lights.
Fingers crossed...
You know we were looking at the un-even grow trait.
Connecting it back to the Columbian.
Well..if you look..she doesn't have it.
Her bottom satellites are perfectly balanced.
Probably indicating that she is the most afghan dom of the 3.
Time will tell...
The other 2 are just sitting there getting Fat...
2nd and 3rd from the left...back row
Fat with seed..
Nice one mate how do you think the colour trait will carry over on the russian?
From past experence mate will you get a 50/50 split colour wise or???????
Well...
IMO..
because the WR already has a pink blush to the male flowers..
and since I think we have detected a hefty hint of columbian in the mix..
I think your columbian genes..and mine...are going to strengthen/intensify in this cross....
so I think F1 will be dominated by colour.
but..then again..I could be totally wrong..
What would be your best guess..
I have height measures on the WR girls..if you want to see them...
They have been a pleasure to grow m8..and if they taste as good as they look..we are in for a hell of a Summer...
What is you max head-room in your grow cupboard..
my fat pheno'd Stud is 20 inches tall now..and he is just starting his sex spurt..I don't want to mix something that is too high for you.
I find shorter Auto's are better only as the bud formation seem's tighter and it gives me a better chance having shorter plants for the light to get to the lower levels as i only use envirolite's mate.
Would love to try but i think there out of my range right now lol
