The Spanish discovered that rat brain tumors injected with cannabinoids committed autophagy and faded away in the 1970's.

Popular myth says Nixon was presented with that information by the panel he assembled to study cannabises medical benefits, but discarded it because it flew in the face of his personal beliefs and agenda.

I care gave my best friend as he died of a brain tumor in 2005, before I became aware of that study.

I feel both incensed and dejected that in this ostensibly enlightened age, that the medical properties of cannabis continue to be denied the American public because of personal beliefs and private agendas roadblocking research.

How do we justify killing off some of our citizens by denying them medical salvation, to keep others from getting high?

Justifiable collateral damage?

Well said, my thoughts as well.
