WOW!!! Those plants are fucking stupid. I get a lot of purple petioles on my strains too. Everytime I see your monsters inside it's makes me wish I had an unlimited free power source, so I could do that. God Damn son!!!!!!!!!!!

Welp.. spoke too soon. I went ahead and jinxed myself.
Here we are around 9 days after previous update. I believe a hair into ~3 weeks flower. Things seem to be taking a turn for the worst and yellowing very quickly.. and most definitely way too early for where I'm at in the flower phase.
Seem to be going down the same route that Dave went.
Now, I have holes drilled in my uppers, but perhaps my tailpieces are no longer draining. Ya got me.. very discouraging.
D9, I went a bit without checking my perimeters. Didn't really realize the yellowing was getting this bad until I cut off the lights again since my last update. My pulse res is in fact taking on new traits just as you had suggested. My pH is finally stabilizing/dropping lower at around 6.3 pH as opposed to the difficulty I had in keeping it down. It likely has been riding around 6.7 pH prior. EC is reading around 1.7 where as it was 1.5EC previously. Bulk res EC however has been maintained at around 1.2 EC 5.5pH for some time now.
Any ideas? Ya think I'll make it to the chop with worthwhile results?

Notice the cherry red stems and the slight res hues on the leaves.
Note - this is only occuring in my PPKs. I have the same strain getting the same juice that gets added to the bulk res being fed via blumats and they still look very green and healthy.
I had a plant dry out and loose nearly ALL of its leafs but some how made it til the end.
I havent ppkd in coco but ime If you have holes drilled you should make it, still keep an eye on the drainage as I have had the holes clog also.... I usually do a pump/drainage test upon arrival and exit when I have clog issues.

the tailpieces are not draining the pwt fast enough to prevent the water still standing from going anaerobic. the plants are drowning.
even though you have drilled the extra holes they only drain down to the point where the perched water table would normally exist in your medium.
can you pull the plant containers out one at a time and have someone run an ice pick or a piece of wire or something up the tailpieces, wallowing out the coco sort of?

Pretty much what I figured.
Not sure about pulling the plants. They are extremely large and heavy.. and I have minimal head room which would allow for such work to take place. I'm pretty much a one man band.
I'm wondering if at this point to finish them out if I should just disconnect the PPK modules from the pulse res and run them drain to waste. They would still sit as is but the tailpieces would no longer be submerged. The lower containers would just run to waste and would not contain any water.

an alternative to lifting them out just occurred to me. you'll have to do it blind but you can take a coat hanger and go down them from the top.
you'll have to probe around but it shouldn't be too hard to find them.
i would punch each one multiple times right through the screen and everything.
wallow them around side to side too.
your plants are worth saving and can still produce well.

I had to do this very thing with my coco plants that weren't draining.... I only had 2 zipties holding each screen to the tailpiece though, some of which I managed to push off losing some coco and some efficiency of my tails. But I made it to haarvest..

How wet is the coco surface just *before* the next watering? What is the air gap? 2 hours is very frequent for coco IMO.
Could you listen next to the bucket, to hear if the solution is all dripping through holes into the lower bucket rather than running silently down the tailpiece?
Are your PH and PPM pens calibrated right *now*?
When was the solution last changed? (completely drained and replaced, I mean)
A bad leaf droop and fall off would scare me a lot more than what I'm seeing in those photos, even though this is happening quickly. I've had plants that looked like they were hit by a nuke, no leaves except the tiny sugar leaves, yet still produced. You can get this sorted and get good results.
I would change res right now, my usual first 'grasp at straws' resort to a problem like this. I don't like that big discrepancy between bulk res PH that it has at the moment but I don't know what's right.
