In an unprecedented move, today the Dutch government voted in parliament 22-4 to ban the carbonated "energy drink" Red Bull from sale in all shops in the Greater Amsterdam area.
Minister of Public Safety Hedwig VonDickestsoften was quoted as saying,"Crack is safer for our citizens than this golden poison, and we wish to encourage a turn to hard drugs after witnessing what this "Joy Juice" can do to our young people."
He went on to say that the Dutch government will be making cocaine (both powdered and freebase) available at a reduced charge to all party-goers in the confines of The Red Light District between 9pm-2am.
Those wacky Dutch, what will they think of next??
