well looks lke they dont want to crack again

ive cracked them a litle myself and have put them in some new clean paper towels
fingers crossed we get a shoot

next im going to try the airstone like the guy posted earlier in the thread
il only be germing 1 seed at a time from now on with these dutch flower seeds to try and get the best germ rates

great news on these

all have got tails

these are prob same age as the dutchflower seeds so you think they would crack as these nl5haze did?
i guess they were not stored properly or something

my nl5 haze seeds been in fridge ever since they were dried and picked from the bud at least 10 years ago

lets hope these turn out like the old nl5haze pheno i had way back then

man hope the 2nd one germs but im over the moon with just this 1

not out the waters yet it still needs to push above the coco but i give it a tad head start and just left the seed poking through

bad news

it just stalled in the coco and didnt do nothing

second seed didnt properly take off so didnt get potted

back to the drawing board and to put these seeds away for a rethink on another germ method

im def going to try the airstone that someone posted earlier and had success with

you should germ them in a granite triangle like the russians did to pop those 1000 year old seeds... -=P

banana peels!do a google search!
they have a chemical that is releassed when they start to decompose that is proven to feminize seeds and help older seeds to pop!i have used this 3 times in the last 2 months with 46 seeds and every one but 3 came up female,one pack was 19 years old!and i got 8-10 t0 pop,all females!try it!need to uses a big freezer bag,get an envelope and cut it i half once you seal it(empty)so that there is just a side opening,put a banana peel in the bottom of the freezef bag(bigger one)then put your seeds in the envelope,loosely fold the edge and put in sealed freezere bag,put in a dark place,i use a box,change peels and bag once every 4 days and do this for roughly 2 weeks....

Im trying it with my seedling formula if that doesn't work will try straight water.

no doubt. The bubbler jar does help. tried some other tired old beans sunk them all in just a couple of hours. They are a lot like just old and tired.
