I think Rez did them open pollination with Double Strawberry Diesel v1 which was never released. Probably a dozen pheno's and I doubt one is weak. I got one seed lest from 07, but tons of selfed seeds from one crop that a few went herm due to stress.

Wow man. I'm salivating from my face. I love any diesel strain. I've been looking at the strawberry diesel. Rez makes some sick strains dude. I still got some SD beans of my own. I want to get my hands on some DSD. Or some new diesels. I must say people loving the bud porn. Keep em coming

Yeah I would agree there are many different pheno's, all are good, some are amazing. However, there was one pheno the first year I grew it that just didnt do it for me. It was the smallest producing, had little visible trichomes, tasted like a mix between strawberry cough drops and hay (leaning more towards the hay), and just didnt have the potency the others did. By some peoples standards it was still good herb, but to me it wasnt worth the space it took up. Did change some gnarly colors though.
For anyone who hasnt grown it yet...DO IT! Its now a staple in my garden and everyone will find at least one keeper pheno from a 10 pack. Its fruity, its potent, its good yielding, stress resistant, has amazing visual appeal, and overall just a joy to grow. Rez dog created a real gem of a strain with this.
I cant wait to grow the f3's I made (since these are f2's from what I've gathered? Correct me if I'm wrong) along with the plethora of hybrids I did with it. This season I'm growing out some Strawberry Congo (Deep Congo x DSD), Strawberry Kush (Prize Kush x DSD), and a project I am calling Strawberry Fields Forever (A secret purple x DSD). Should make for loads of berry fun breeding projects
ZoeFresssh666, thanks for the props. They got way bigger than I imagined. I started them indoors in february, FIM'd them several times, and put them in the ground in may. Doin the same this year
the_dungeon, yes these are Reservoir genetics. Best deal on seeds I ever got I think. 40 bucks a pack when they were on sale a year or two ago. Wish I had bought like 6 more packs lol I want to grow this strain for many more years
