Does anyone make their own kief?

I exclusively puff kief and was wondering if anyone grows solely to make kief? Probably set of screens? How much kief do you get? What do you do with the leftovers?

I don't grow soley for kief, but I make sure I don't have anything leftover.
All trim and larf gets processed by bubble bags, RSO or bho. Then I save those leftovers for either compost or fermented plant extract.
I have not yet tried fermented but have bucketfuls for it.

I have a tumbler which I bought from Mila Jansen The Hash Queen through her Amsterdam company The Pollinator. Got a 6 ton press too from her to press the kief into hash. I mostly grow for kief and hash.

What's the easiest way to make kief from sugar leaf/popcorn buds?. I like flower bur a little kief is just as nice occasionaly,I don't want to mess about with oil etc.thanks.76

I picked up this sift box for 40 bucks at the head shop. It’s a great tool.

I made this from a stackable storage bin and a paint shaker. Works awesome. Perhaps a tiny bit excessive for some.

Back in the olden days, when we could get an occasional bag, it was often mostly sticks and stones, so it was just easier to bring out the old handcrank flour sifter...so, i started out doing the 'kief'. Some of my fave kitchen utensils are various meshes of strainers.

The keif boxes are a great way to gather some casual keif. All my grinding and rolling is done in an original WICCA box. I have used them for years and love 'em.

Depending on what folks do with it. In my case it is nothing more than a luxury at roughly 10% return. I smoke what I get in my grinders, from making pills.

Yes. Size "0" They vary between 0.22-0.26g ea, take 3 a day each pill is a 6hr ride. I do have a pollen collector for super tight frosty buds, which I will use at a 50/50 ratio with the untumbled stuff. My rationale, although tumbled, most of the trichs will exist in the interior. So I loose little potency.

I would picture the pills and edibles having the same effect. Do the pills just allow for a time release process?
