People forget that the flowering cycle is the end of the female plants life, and that she puts everything into her buds, if you wait she will do just that, and you wont have to flush.

Indeed, it is extremely difficult and is a major indicator of how competent and educated the grower has become. Only by checking trichs can you determine the peak ripeness of your cannabis. Do you wait until fruit is overripe and mushy, before you pick it? No, you don't. You've eaten fruit at different stages of ripeness and you pick/eat when it reaches the stage you prefer. You do not go out and harvest mushy, rotted fruit that has fallen off the tree.
