stai facendo un pò di confusione... più la pianta matura, più i tricomi si imbruniscono, più l' effetto è sedativo e "medicinale", l' opposto è il contarrio, con speed più mentale, più intenso ma breve... il tutto comunque si assesta meglio dopo un periodo di cura che permette tutte quelle trasformazioni nelle molecole di thc... deve ossidarsi, e tutte quelle cose chimiche. il risultato è comunque che l' erba è più buona dopo un mesetto dal taglio

In fioritura il grado di maturazione dei tricomi è indipendente dalla maturazione dei fiori?

Perchè io mi ritrovo con 2 piante dai fiori maturissimi "effetto speed celebrale"
e 2 piante con fiori più acerbi "effetto sedativo".

In genere credevo accadadesse il contrario voglio dire se lascio maturare i fiori, i tircomi teoricamente dovrebbero tendere sempre più all'ambrato

Devi sempre tenere conto che hai a che fare con ibridi, non con landraces, il cui effetto varia tantissimo a seconda del seme.... basta un nonnulla nel genoma per cambiare alcuni effetti dovuti alle differenti quote di precursori cannabici in interazione tra loro;

Ad esempio in un ciclo di LowRyder2 una volta avevo una pianta maturissima a tricoma giallo con effetto cerebrale tipico di alta dose di CBD e un'altra ancora indietro a tricoma lattiginoso già sedativa come una indicona, con stessa medesima struttura fisica.

Il bello della canapa è anche questo, l'eterogeneità.
L'osservazione di DXTR è quindi quantomai pertinente e giustissima: devi lasciar passare almeno un mesetto perchè tutti i componenti maturino (ossidandosi) consentendo più omogeneità negli effetti.

ma a cosa servono 4 giorni di buio?

I gg di buio servono principalmente a:

Far si che gli amidi , attivi con la fotosintesi , rimangono nelle radici, quindi erba piu' morbida nel gusto.

La pianta matura piu' velocemente( la canapa cresce nelle ore di luce e matura nelle ore di buio.4 gg ( 4x24 ore ) di buio corrispondono alla maturazione ottenuta con 8 gg di 12/12

Poi ci sono i terpeni, che vengono prodotti principalmente nella resina. I terpeni , come il thc e il cbd influenzano il tipo di high dell'erba. La maggior parte di noi , me compreso, a sempre pensato che il thc da lo stone bello attivo, da sativa, mentre il cbd da lo stone rilassante.E questo e' vero ma sembra che anche i terpeni sono responsabili del tipo di high, qui trovi info se vuoi leggere

Cmq il buio prolungato fa si che i terpeni non volatilizzano alla stessa maniera di quando si hanno le lampade accese perche' il calore delle lampade, il cambio aria con ventole varie e le temperature alte distruggono i terpeni piu' velocemente.
In generale si puo dire che finendo il ciclo con dei gg ( 2 o piu' ) di buio si ottiene un erba piu' gustosa , piu' morbida al palato e piu' profumata.

Comunque oggi ho imbarattolato le prime 2 Demios.
entrambe 70g, anche la terza credo siam li.
Invece quella che ho tagliato oggi scommetto che arriva almeno a 100g.

Insomma come tempi non ci siamo proprio per delle auto, ma quanto a resa non mi posso lamentare

So why harvest after a dark period? For me harvest is all about slowly killing the plant. You do not want the act of cutting it down to be what kills it, you want it to be dead when you take it up to dry. We do this with the final flush/starve cycle and then letting the plant get dry as I have already described. During this time I shut off the lights with the plants languishing without it for up to five days! (a lot of gardeners will call BS on this number, usually an aggressively grown cannabis plant will die after 48 hours with no light. This long period of lingering comes from the fact that I grow with such strong micro-life. The fugus lingers on feeding a small life-line of retained nutes and moisture to the plant to keep it alive. This lasts until the fungal network gets too dry to operate anymore and goes dormant which takes about 5 days!)

The absence of light is just another signal to the plant that it is dying. With no light it will make no effort to conduct photosynthesis. This means it is more willing to break down its chlorophyll which means tossing most of the nitrates (exactly what we want). If the lights are on the plant is gonna continue to attempt to make more sugar to keep itself alive weather or not it has enough water and nutes to actually do so. After the first 24 hours in the dark the plant starts to panic. It much more willingly burns off the nitrates, uses up its energy reserves and draws all the good stuff out of the fan leaves and lets them drop off on their own. When harvested this way a plant is almost half way finished drying by the time you cut it down. Most of the fan leaves will have completely shriveled up and dropped off. Large, undesirable bud leaves will also sometimes shrivel. The stems will be but a fraction of the diameter that they where when alive. Any remaining vegetation should be very yellow and the buds should have lost most of their chlorophyll. When you cut a plant down prematurely the buds don't get to do this until they make it into the curing jars. This means that bud dried my way is actually pretty decent to smoke even when un-cured. (granted I still recommend at least a 6 week cure on top of the drying time anyway, its just so much nicer)
