"DEA" tv show

I'd like to know if they've ever done an episode about a dispensary bust. I think if they really want to show people how scary they are (that's what this show is about), they should show how they treat sick people. Roughing up some terminal cancer patients or throwing wheel-chair bound people to the ground would certainly reinforce their message of terror.

Now that I think about it, I'd like to see that show Locked Up Abroad do an episode on Marc Emery. To show how scary getting caught up in the US criminal justice system really is.

they did have an episode on a grow house even... helicopter flir. only one i was really interested in... and still felt guilty watchin it, as if it gave them sort of silent support in ratings.

If you DVR it and wait 48 hours to watch, it wont count in the Nielsons.

What can you tell us about the FLIR episode?

I like watching the show only because it shows things that they do and look for that can help someone out, such as they don't look in baby wipe containers if it is not heavy, maybe a good place to hide cash?
I remember when I was charged the policed asked me to name who I got my stuff from and I told him I was reluctant to give out that information they harassed the shit out of me and in mid feb (about minus 10 celcius) took me out of my car took of my jacket for mouthing off to them when they asked if I had a needle in my pocket. They kept asking me who my friends were, who I hung out with and trying to say I knew people I didn't know and lived with people I didn't know, in the end I just ended up walking away with all of them pissed off and unfortunatly a fine and a record, but I knew better than to tell them who I had got my stuff from, I made the mistake not the person who supplied me.

The funny thing was about 2 months later they made a huge drug sweep around the town and the only things they found in quanities were cocaine and pills, imagine that, they couldn't find marijuana.

well, sometimes people cave in to protect others.

one time i confessed, cause i was living with my bro and his wife,
came out ok, got a fine, they were so happy with my leading them to my small 3 seedling vegchamber, they walked right past the grow (though empty at that moment)

wouldave been trouble for my bro and friend if i hadnt though.

but i have no trouble lying to the police any way i see fit.
i manipulate them and the best way to do that, is just be really polite (criminals arent ;)) and nice to them and deny everything.

lol, might accept some small charge if it gets me the fuck out of there sooner, their fine´s dont bother me, first of all, all jails are full.

they cant do shit, even if i take years to pay.

lol, even if i dealt or grew alot, getting busted, well, jail is a place to make connections, very useful if you are dealing :)

they create their own hell, here sentences are rather puny, compared to america.

but, if i had to face a life in jail, and these two cops are bugging me and i live in a huge country where its easy to hide or dissapear.

well, what do you think is gonna happen to those two cops if i have the chance?

they create their own graves. i wouldnt want to be a cop in china or places where they execute dealers and smugglers, well, most people cave right away, but there is always going to someone, that just dont really give a fuck anymore ;)

and the higher the stakes, the higher the risk..

they cant really sustain the drugwar.. thats why they go after weed, we are the most harmless and least likely to fight back.

fighting us is like a rollercoaster, lots of excitement, but virtually no danger.

unless its bigtime weed and then they go in armed to the teeth or with tanks.

see, they cant sustain this, without literally going to war with the people.

and they dont know who the enemy is, so they basically attack all the people.

same as with terrorists.

its become like the witcheshunt in the middle ages, neighbors asked to spy on their fellow man. become snitches.

and innocent folk get hurt. (and since drugusers are generally "innocent" just like their high, this is just monstrous)

i cant watch shows like that anymore.

cant watch anything if it isnt pro mj and to the hilt.

dont even get angry that much at that shit anymore, just sick and tired of it.

Propaganda. No thanks. I do not watch any show that shows police, jails, lawyers etc.

I see more than I want to in real life and the news already and that is enough.

If you want to study police tactics, get a good source and "Read".
Self directed thought is much more fun to me.

hehe strainhunter´s got a good point though, know your enemy.

knowing their tactics, removes alot of their weapons against you.

lol, though they probably dont show any of the "good stuff" they use, cant reveal all your tactics. but it is useful to know how they act and behave in the field and in questioning..

if you are in that position of possibly needing info about them.

make your enemy irrelevant or reduce his harmfulness and the best way to do that, is to know him. by knowing his tactics you make him predictable and controllable.

so , if you can ignore the anger and just study the cops, one or two shows wouldnt really be bad learning..

You can't really blame the cops they didn't make the law. I watched a few episodes its just like cops. They see something, ask some questions, person cooperates/incriminates them selves, cuff em' and stuff em'. Cops are like hunting dogs, single minded, eager to please and persistent. They are always just pickin the low hanging fruit usualy.

The show 48 Hours will give you a good idea of cops relying on snitches as their only source to get the ball rolling on an investigation.

They have absolutely ZERO evidence until people start talking. While this show pertains to homicide and most deserve their conviction it is interesting to watch people literally give up their friends and family unintentionally because they are scared or too stupid to keep their mouth shut.

It goes down the same way for drug cases. Some idiot 1st tell on himself and then others are bought into it because asshat thinks he's going to get some kind of break when he rolls on all of his friends. Pussies that sweat when authority start grillin' em.

What can you tell us about the FLIR episode?

they had a snitch who said the grower was selling for $6000 lb

got the warrant for the FLIR and flew over and grower was venting hot air directly outside during winter

they raided and said they could smell from the driveway, inside basement full of weed, the grower had a pretty decent setup and nice looking plants but barely any smell filtration

DEA agents say it is the most high tech grows they have ever seen

shows neighbors clapping after bust, gives all growers bad reps and makes me sick

just goes to show you....No tell, no smell, No sell, this guy was breaking all three

Gotta sell it to make money.

The house, car, and "grower" were so out of place in that episode. Stuck out like a sore thumb, no flir protection, to smell protection that I saw. Prolly got snitched on.

Fuckin boys in blue had a hard on that episode

I dont watch any of those Leo shows. It only suports there activities. They make money off of those shows. The more people that watch(ratings) the more episode they get to make. I wish all of them would get canceled.

Didn't see any threads about this show? Anyone else watch this show and see how frequently and easily the suspects give up their rights in different situations? The tactics the DEA use are also pretty slimy and yet the propaganda they try to dish about the suspects is unbearable at times.

NEVER RAT!

reason why. if they had what they needed to convict you they wouldn't even bother talking to you. It is all just a trick to try to get you to confess. Just tell them you respectfully retain you right to remain silent, and want your lawyer. Realize everything they come at you with before and after that is a lie to pressure you. TALKING ACTUALLY LEGALLY FUCKS YOU.

When he gets there your lawyer can bail you out, and he will probably tell you to say nothing until trial to prevent you from showing any cards in your hand.

Fuck anti pot fascist police.
