Currently at day 20 on this grow but I'll start at day 1. I've been growing for four years, I've done soil, coco, and for the past year plus I've been using Growpito Sim mix.

480w Bridgelux EB2 3000k fixture
4x4 Tent
9 x 5 gallon pots
Growpito Sim Mix
Mega Crop
Growpito Beneficials
3x3 flood and drain table

This grow is running 18 Mendo Breath cuts, 3 Seedsman Bruce Banger Seeds, and 1 Dinafem Blue Cheese clone. Transplanted them and top watered. 1st flood was not until day 5.

Day 1

EC of 1.5

5.5 pH

11/13 Light Schedule

80f w/ 2° leaf temp offset

55% RH

Day 20

EC of 1.5 in and 1.5 out

6.0 pH in and 6.1 pH out

11/13 Light Schedule

80f w/ 2° leaf temp offset

55% RH

More or less had a full pH swing so I'll be adjusting the pH back to 5.5 come next flood.

Plants have really branched out and flowering is progressing. Some light aroma has begun on the Bruce and Blue Cheese. 2 inch internodes on the Mendo Breath and less on the mothers.

No deficiencies have been observed and stretching has ended. The larger clones reached 30" while the mothers have remained short.

I've grown Mapito for many of year's mate doing coco now at the moment.

If i had the same return of EC as you did 1.5 IN AND OUT i would try bumping up it.

Will you reuse this as it can be reused over and over again for years i've got stuff still from 2016

I have been reusing the same batch for almost two years now. I don't really push the EC as .45 of it is tap water so roughly 1.0 of nutrients. The MC+kelp+humic+MAP+PS has let me keep the base nutrition low as I don't want to deal with excessive nitrogen plus I think the color on everything looks really good.

I grew in coco for about a year but I prefer having the recirculating system as I used a lot of water every grow in coco compared to this.

COCO VS Mapito yield what do you think? one is better?

Every 3 days i use to water mapito coco ever day with DTW system setup but I don't pay for water I just pay a month standard fee

Woah, is it 12 strips at 1A? What's going to happen? I grew that blue cheese and it stretched so much. I could not raise the light

edit: Ah, never mind, looks like you still have space

I get equal results in coco or Growpito. I just use a lot less water in Growpito plus the breakdown is so slow/reusable with no binders or anything.

I just copied the build from the below for the 4x4

https://ledgardener.com/diy-led-strip-build-designs-samsung-bridgelux/

I'll get more pictures but the BC stayed relatively short. It is the Mendo Breath that branched like crazy and went from 12" to 30" lol.

Cool. I would be careful with proximity. if the plants get close to the strips like in my picture the tops will be seeing like 1400 PPF. I have seen it cause bananas and extreme foxtailing/never-ending growth

Is it harder to clean roots out of mapito after a grow compared to coco? I want to order a bag and try it. It's a very old school medium that I never tried because it seemed like straight up rockwool cubes etc got more popular...
Then again Video 2000 was better than VHS and VHS became the standard

There are many ways to re start all I used todo was pull stalk out and big roots and flip over pot and put new plant run enzyme for few weeks and start again.

Yeah I rented a PAR meter and the PPFD is around 1400 except the corners. My last Scrog I ran Ace's Malawi x Panama with the lights about 4 inches away but I didn't have any foxtailing out of the norm. I did find 2 undeveloped seeds in 2lbs of bud but otherwise no issues.

I've never used the Mapito but with the Growpito I just cut at the base of the stalk and put new clones in and keep going. Roots and stalks break down pretty quickly

Mapito is the same mate really, Growpito is new so you don't need to flush all the old EC out same as RFX-1 and that. I make my own i've got bales of grodan granulate at storage I will get some pictures of it for you.

I mix bean bag balls in with it got that method online from another fourm and it works perfect with flood and drain

Day 23

EC of 1.5 in and 1.5 out

6.1 pH in and 6.3 pH out

11/13 Light Schedule

80f w/ 2° leaf temp offset

50% RH

Finally working our way into week 4. The last foliar was day 21 and some light pruning was done at the base of some of the clones.

No deficiencies but there have been some leaves here and there very low in the canopy that abscised otherwise no issues. Pots were moved around with the mothers and shorter cuttings to the right.

Excited to see how the Mendo Breath develop. Light aromas have begun and the mothers are developing frost. The red stems on the Mendo and they are quite beautiful complimenting the green of their fan leaves.

Enough chatter from me. Here are some photos.

Day 26

EC of 1.7 in and 1.6 out

5.5 pH in and 5.7 pH out

11/13 Light Schedule

83f w/ 2° leaf temp offset

48% RH

Coming from coco I quite like flood and drain. The Growpito has been nice to grow in and not having to dump my res through the whole grow is great.

Plants are getting frosty and some aroma is beginning to develop. No deficiencies or issues across 3 strains and several phenos.

I wish it could have been a true SOG but my cloning skills are weaker than my flowering skills. Ran a messed up EC and pH meter for several months and didn't even know it until I bought expensive replacements. I had been feeding at a 3.5EC and 6.5+pH for months. Lost an Oriental Express x Nepal Jam seed and a Zamaldelica x Kali mother. I took it as them being unsuitable despite my mistakes. Oh well
