Cream Caramel®

A synthetic variety which is the result of a three way cross between our best Indicas: BlueBlack x Maple Leaf Indica x White Rhino.
The synthetic varieties share with hybrid varieties the goal of obtaining the vigor of a hybrid while providing homogeneity to its descendents.
A sweet intense taste, like caramel, with a hint
of earthy flavor coming from the presence of the BlueBlack genetic.
Ideal for indoor growing. This variety is usually the favorite of medicinal users.

im in my 40's and have been growing most of my life both indoors and out. I did an outdoor run this year at about 42.5 n latitude midwest. out of 9 different varieties this year, the cream caramel BLOWS AWAY everything else i have ever seen in my entire life! its not finished yet, but the growth characterisitcs are absolutely amazing. once we hit september it seemed like these things just filled out overnight with the biggest colas i have ever seen. i cant wait to try it out. truly an amazing plant, smells great too ;) other varieties in this grow are og18, critical+, critical sensi star, stacked kush, critical jack, and the cream blows them all away.

Is this an auto? Or is there an auto version?

Oddly I grew this the same time I grew the Think Different, which was a thread subject today oddly. The one I grew was an auto, and once again had great bag appeal, lousy taste and high. Idk where the beans came from, they were passed to me as cream caramel auto. Quickly binned for sure.

Good luck with the grow and I hope these are not like the autos!

Vibes!

What does "synthetic variety" mean?

Cheers Lester!

Thanks for the visit and comment.

I've recently posted an article about "The Cream Caramel Family" where you can find info about what we consider a "synthetic variety".

Here it is: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=312238

Check out the first page about "History and Methodology".

All the best and sweet smokes! :tiphat:

I see, you use the term as in combination rather than artificial.

Allogamy is cross pollination, which is quite natural, so using a term most frequently used when referring to artificial is what confused me. Fancy way of saying you used mothers and fathers of separate strains and cross pollinated them. Yep the birds and the bees.

Nice article, was an enjoyable read, thanks for the link. :tiphat:

Cheers again Lester!

I'm very glad to know that someono who shows knowledge about breeding enjoyed reading my article.

Thanks :tiphat:

Yes, it's more in the sense that 3 strains were synthesized in only 1 strain. Hence the "synthetic variety", as all the 3 genetics are "gathered" in the final resulting strain.

See you around. All the best and sweet smokes!
