Thanks Mary,but I have a better chance at seeing God...the only way I can get to real sleep is almost pull a Heath Ledger.I mean taking 4 Tylenol Pm's,drink 1/2bottle of Nyquil and take 3 of my 30mg Roxis.But then I am up 2 hours later anyways.Pain is a terrible thing to have .I cannot remember the last time I have been "comfortable".Then I think of my Mom and her cancer and I realize its not as bad as it seems.I love you Mom.Have a great weekend All-BigD

BD I can't function without a cup of coffee in the morning, taking my morning meds is like a nightmare, taking a mouthful then drinking my tomatoe juice then the last mouthful and down the rest of my juice.

I then check my sugar level, prick the finger again!! then 6 hours past then prick & check again etc etc every 6 hours.

I hope everybody is having a good pain free day. At least as good as we can get you know...

My neck and hand pain has been down for the past few months, it's great! I'm even working 40+ hours a week, I think being able to do that really puts me in a positive mood.

Gotta enjoy life, because I know once winter comes around I will probably be in bed most days....

On a side note, I have spent over a month veging two plants, and I think they both ended up male!!! :( What a drag. The good news is I could start more right now and still have two months of veg.

And I have 3 in another spot. Really looking for a nice harvest this year, some hash and butter sounds sooooo nice for the winter! Maybe a little green dragon as well. :canabis:

I don't know if this has been said, but if anybody is like me and completely unable to obtain pain medicine, look in to poppy pod tea. It's really a life saver, it's taken me from 7-10 pain before to 4-6. And with a better outlook on life.

Just thought I would add that.

well the only other alternative is to grow your own. You will get some couch lock for sure.

I already know because of these monthly drug test UA from my Primary Care Dr, once they send him the results of my test, because i'm on valiums & percs he does UA's to make sure i'm taking the meds well now with mj in my system i want to see what he will say or maybe take me off the percs but then again every 3 months i have blood work he never mentioned anything ever?? let's wait & see.

yea its about that time to self medicate, think i'll break out the train wreck and throw a little hash on top. along with my nooner of methadone and 1 extra today. Legs a little numb and tingly.

If they every do the hair test to find out every drug you've ever done the Lab tech will be getting high from the sample :laughing:

I don't mind numb. But tingley bugs me. DR taking anything for acid reflux? They come up positive for THC.

I did the weekly lawn care today,lite weedwacking and ride-on mower.both sides are numb and tingly.feels like my arms are 3x there size ..strange feeling to explain unless you live it.Mine stems from cervical radiculopathy.

Spent the day at the beach, and any of you with leg problems know how bad the sand is on 'em...my knees are SCREAMING! :( Hopefully after I take a nice cool shower and roll up a blunt the swelling will go down a little and the pressure leave the knees.

LayedBack - Sounds like poppy pod tea's got some potential, I'll have to look into it :)

I wish my wife would lighten up about cannabis.We have been together for 15 years and she still is after me.I told her on our 1st date that "I smoke pot and alot of it,and if you cannot deal with it,we shouldnt go out after this date" and here we are 15 years later.Does she not know that w/o it,my pain and illness will be worse than ever? Hasn't she seen w/her own eyes what pot does for me? I was at BK in Va. on way home on vaykay-90 outside so AC's were rocking.Well sweat plus AC is BigD popsicle,so I couldnt eat my lunch.Not one bite.Excused myself went and burned maybe 4 hits.Came back inside and finsihed my meal.She is afraid to lose RN license if I get busted.Well I got busted 3 mnths ago for possesion.Guess what? She still has her license.She hates the fact that I talk about pot.I told her to look up advocate in the dictionary.I love her dearly and have never cheated,I dont hit,I do all housework and babysitting and I let her do wahtever she wants and never say no.She better soon realize what she has before she loses what she has cause I am at the end of my rope w/people who give anyone shit about wanted/needing to feel better.Legaize this damn shit already so none of us have to suffer another day of FEAR-fear of arrest and my wife leaving me...it sucks!

Daddy,I take it you live in a non MMJ state. Seems like her being an RN she would know firsthand about addictions to pain meds. Can you get her to read some research on MMJ?

that's just like my father. I have a med card im legal but he is strongly opposed to me using it even if it was legal. I have tried to educate him but he is from the generation of refer madness and believes that crap he is 72 years old. Unfortunately while im living in his other house I can not grow he wont give his permission so I will wait until I can get back on my feet and my own place again. It really sucks and I do understand bigdaddy.

Hey evrybody ,hope you are all doing ok.It's raining hard here at the moment and i swear if it were possible the humidity would be 150%,lol.It sure doesn't do anything for the back pain.My right hand has been numb and tinglely(almost like needles)for the last 2-3 weeks,i guess it is time to go back to the specialist and have another mri done.My primary chronic pain is from lower back(L-4 , L-5 , and S-1),but as i just stated my right hand has been numb for the last couple of weeks and i am pretty sure that i am starting to have upper back and neck problems now.I do have some pain with it but mostly numbness.I know at the least i have a pinched nerve but have also had some bad pain with it,so i'm thinking it is more than just a pinched nerve.
Just thought maybe somebody here might have some opinions.
I also have some cuts coming and thought i would ask if anybody has tried them for pain and which ones worked for you.Here is a list of cuts i have coming with high hopes that one of them atleast will work for chronic pain.
