When I tested positive for Lyme 5 years ago, I took my lab results to the leading infectious disease doctor in my region (not on purpose, he just happened to be the doctor they scheduled me to see) The test I took measured IGg bands and such, just like most of the COVID testing. He said, "it really doesn't mean anything. I ended up proving him wrong and had to basically teach him how to practice medicine. He ultimately agreed and diagnosed me, appropriately. Doctors are often very stupid people. After he couldn't defend against the logical arguments I was making, he diagnosed my as Lyme positive based on my irregular heart beat (not an appropriate way to diagnose Lyme).

He was probably a legacy candidate for his med school. One of my best friends dad was a veterinarian, he was supposed to be one too....but he had more will than dad did.
Unfortunately many of us grow up and do what Dad did just because...I'm proud I found my own path although I'm the blaksheep.

a HUGE % of folks here smoke weed. at one point, Tennessee & Kentucky grew some of the best in the (known) world. then, California came to the front, and our state swung from Dem control to GOP & we have steadily moved backwards politically, but not socially. prob best weed i ever smoked came from old men in middle of the state that helped their fathers grow hemp for the war effort in the '40s. shit went for $60 or better an oz when great Colombian was selling for $35, and had folks begging for it. smelled like cat shit in a bag, tasted like heaven...

you would be correct, sir. still a $750 fine and 11 mo 29 da (normally suspended) here if stopped by the wrong officer. some of them laugh at you, tell you to "slow the fuck down, and stay out of trouble." we need more of those hired in & a bunch of the other types to retire etc.
