Couple Autos + Photos

Hey all, just wanted to post a couple of Autos outdoors, just beginning to flower : 1 is Lennon Auto / Pyramid Seeds, showing pistils along the very top of her apical stem. 2 is Banana Kush Cake Auto / Sensi Seeds freebie, just showed pistils the other day. Have a few Photos as well, topped early on, hanging out nearby. An Afghani Special in a yellow 3.5 Gal container around 2- weeks in, in her own 1/2 square meter box, under a BP-1000 LED. Last pic is of a recently rooted clone, a result of some pollen-chucking last season indoors. The pollen-donor was Sensi's Mexican Sativa, the Mom a fruity & colorful Zkittlez lady, best of the 3 I had going together. This pheno looks and grows very Mexican-Sativa style. Her mom had that typical X-mas tree canopy structure and a bit of a stretch, complete with skinny olive green leaves. This mama was also super early to frost-up, shortly after flowering began, so I decided to clone her for a test-run outdoors. I ended up with a handful of viable seeds (100% germ-rate), and am testing some of these beans here and there, mostly as space-fillers. This is the first one leaning so far into the Mexican line. Many phenos retain the distinctly fruity scents and flavors of her Zkittles mama, at the same time, these beans exhibit a wide range of phenotypes, some clearly better than others. Excited to see how this little clone will do outside... I may end up having to tie her down will see, Thanks for stopping by 🌴

That's a lovely terrace view i'll definitely watch! :joint::cool: 🌎 🌴

Some of your container looking only half full!? ;) When the plants will get rootbound they'll try to grow new roots out of the stem above the soil. So you still got time to fill them containers a bit more with soil. Or you want them to stay smaller?

Thank You😎 Indeed, after the last few bouts of heavy rain the soil has receded a bit, I will take your advice and fill in with new soil / compost, and maybe even 'scale' or notch the stem to encourage roots.

I'm curious about the Afghani special I've got indoors. It's from KC Brains (regular), and I can't seem find much info about this particular strain online🤷‍♂️. Description says it's an old Afghani crossed with a new "Double Afghani''. I was expecting thicker / wider kush-type leaves, but as you can see from the indoor pic her leaves (especially after flowering began) became rather ''spiky'' and thin, resembling cactus-tops😊. Has anyone had any experience with this strain? Never ran a (more of less) Pure Afghani Landrace before, so I'm curious to see how she'll do.

The Banana Kush Auto freebie from Sensi-Seeds is doing well, around 2- weeks into flower. Snapped her 3- biggest branches (Apical + 2 sides) in order to get a squat- profile, exposing lower branches to more light. This is my 1-st attempt at Autos, so far so good🌲

The clone I took just 2- weeks ago is now taking off. The Mom was a very Mexican-Sativa leaning phenotype from a cross I made while pollen-chucking 2- seasons ago ( Sensi's Mex Sat x Skittles).

Sweet Tai by Sweet Seeds, topped early on to produce 4 main branches. I personally Love a Thai-High, the price was right, so I pulled that trigger on those beans. Great germination rates 2/2 The other 1 is still small, going through her seedling stage, before she will be transplanted into bigger possibilities.

Here is Double D from KC Brains, just before topping her, again. I would love to see some measurable breasts by the end of the season 😂

Iced Grapefruit by Female seeds. Ordered just 1-seed, and here we are, topped her about 6 days ago to encourage multiple shoots from her 2 main- branches. I have heard many good things about this particular strain, so pretty excied to see how she will do.

Most of the photos are in 3- Gal smart-pots, and the 2- Autos are in 2-Gal containers. Some of them, (like the iced grapefruit) and Afghani Special are in 3.5 - 4 Gal home converted containers (aka: turning an old, cracked Salad Bowl into a pot). Using aged compost with FFGB adjusted accordingly. Expecting a growth spurt in the coming weeks outdoors, allowing nature to take its course.
