COCO and BLUMATS FTW!

No issues, but there are better mouse traps available :)

I am all ears.

I am checking out some of your earlier post. You seem to be very experienced. What is a "half arrow past run off"?

"... now I'm using 2 gal. pots and growing 4' plants. Coco likes having root filled pots, it's not like soil/Promix at all." How do you keep the plants from falling over?

And you've opened my eye with the "
plants don't grow under 62-63 degrees...and if they do it'll be stunted with deficiencies galore", I had not considered that in my environment planning. Thanks!

i think he means it seems like a lot of work. 2 reservoirs. twice the work to track. i would wait until you run out of that nutrient or skip the blumats altogether if you really like that nutrient line.

i think there are better methods for large grows, but a tent or closet with limited plants and youre golden. blumats will always hold a place in my garden. even if its just in my veg/moms. still gonna play around with blumats and rockwool soon. just waiting on my 4x4 and 4x8 to finish up.

i clogged a bunch of my lines with some funk so i set up a drip system dtw in the mean time. had to for safety reasons as i have been travelling for work lately. these things are looking so fucking good. im super happy. im already getting sad about how long this is gonna take to trim lol.

CO2 went in today. these little bastards are gonna BLOW UP! the two vertical plants are going to get laid over horizontally tomorrow and the DEva 1k will obliterate them with light

Yes you are.
Let me make sure I have this correct: You waited until after they were well into flowering to lay them down, and then you tied them to the top of the screens? How many gallons is in the root bag? I'm looking forward to watching their development. Please don't worry about taking too MANY photos of the horizontal grow. :tiphat:

that about sums it up. i pinched and super cropped to get them branchy as hell and then laid them over about 2 weeks into flower. they are in 3 gal bags with floraflex rocket drippers. tied them to the tops of the screen with produce twist ties.

How you watering them with blumats this way horizontally? Where is carrot?

i hate to let all my blumat followers down but i had to remove them. i added something to the res that i shouldnt have and it junked up all my lines. mow they are on DTW drippers.

the blumats can be run like this as well. carrots get poked into the bag from the side or top and make a hole for the drip line to feed into.

i will still be using them in my veg roon but im gonna have to clean out all my lines and start them fresh. i have been travelling for work and cant risk a clog while im out of town :(

thank you. the only issue im having at the moment is my pump is a bit undersized and the one side of my room furthest from the pump is getting less water than the close side. had to flush them out and add a second slow dripper to try and even things out a bit. tomorrow will tell the tale if whether or not i fixed the problem.

got it sorted out. runoff dropped by 300 and almost in the sweet spot. should be good after today. SOG is coming down any day now. they are getting their fade on. trying to get some color in there but not much yet. next round is vegging. got lots of strains to choose from. makes it hard lol.

they are doing fine. dont look any better or worse at the moment. still dialing in my drip system. i think once i do that everything will do amazing. im trying to find a balance between enough runoff and not wasting a shit ton. i think my pump is a little under sized but its working for now.

i will get pics tonight

i think you are good to go on the house and garden boosters, and mot others. just make sure they are pure liquid or powder that dissolves cleanly. no kelp, molasses organics.
even had issues with sm90 because its oily and it seemed to clog the little 3mm arteries
