The world's first financial institution specifically for the weed industry could start Jan 1st. This is a big deal as the Rec/MMJ businesses were almost entirely a cash only business. The banks wouldn't do business with the dispensaries or closed the accounts when the banks found out the Rec/MMJ disps were weed related. The disps had to pay all their bills with Money Orders and it tied up several employees running around all day.
