Clones in Colorado?

Where can I find clones in Colorado at a recreational shop? Preferably not covered in pests. Thanks.

Did you try the intrawebz?

Plan for pests and be ready to nuke anything you bring out of a dispensary, period. Craigslist has clones, actually a decent place these days for Colorado if you're careful.

Lots and lots and lots of growers in Colorado just passing cuts to anyone who wants them.

I have bought clones before at LaContes clone bar. They have a web site you can check and they are located sort of near the intersection of I-70 and I-25 in Denver on the N.W side if that helps. I have never noticed bugs from them and the quality of the clones is ok, but not fire.

You can always call the clone bars and ask if they batch test (or test at all) for disease, pests, and mold; when was the last date tested....Any reputable grower will make sure they're not giving out herpes to the community.

I've never taken a clone from anyone...I know someone who picked up clones in Denver. He got mites, root aphids, and the clones of the same strain were all across the board (different). None of it was dank. Grow from seed and select the pheno's you're looking for.

It's just risky.

Better to start with reputable seeds, do your own cloning. THEN you know what the plant has been subjected to....afterall, clone 'banks', rec dispensaries are more for the profit than the health and quality of the clone.

PERIOD.

You will get pests if you buy clones from a store.

Buy seeds! Select your own winners and clone!

Bugs or PM are guaranteed when buying from shops. Start from seed. Any one in Denver that wants to trade for seeds hit me up. Im all about spreading the seed.

I only trust karmacuticals!!
They update the "Klone" list regularly n hav a helpfull staff. (Though I haven't met all the growers). Many plants over several seasons have grown true to form and been quite pleasing!! Clearly proven, and as advertised!
They also Cary high CBD cuts like AC/DC & R4!!

However many shops have wasted my time!! Been tempted by many dif shops around town over the years. Denver should b full of exotic genetics after all...
But alas the odds are high you won't get what you want!

AVOID:
Sense of healing
Denver dam
Burnzwell
And pretty much anyone who can't answer basic Q's abt strain info!!!!

Always exspect foreign clones to have pests andshould b treated accordingly!

I have a nice stock of seed. WiFi, VG'S pre98 Bubba s1's, SSSDH, Strawberry diesel, strawberry diesel kush, connoisseur chem, Chemmy jones, a bunch of other stuff too. I just really don't have time to pop seeds and do pheno selection.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'm used to the typical process for getting new clones and always quarantine new clones. I've had to deal with mites, pm, aphids, gnats, and thrips before so I think I may just have to pop some seeds.

It depends, I think you can only get clones and seeds in medical shops, but don't quote me on that.

Seeds are available in rec shops, haven't found very good selection though and nothing anyone would be really excited to grow. Didn't buy clones due to all the horror stories, and also wasn't really looking.

As some other people said, there seem to be some decent (or awesome) seed producers around the state, I would assume at least a couple of them do rec sales to out of state folks. Not sure how a rec shop would be allowed but an actual seed shop wouldn't. Takes a bit of extra time, but unless making your own, clones do not seem like the way to go.

Yeah, the clones I have gone around and looked at were barley alive. I bought 12 and now they are about 4 ft.

Planning on switching over to a hydro setup for my next grow so will probably grab some clones, going to give medicine man a whirl as i haven't been in yet.

Clones/seeds seem like something everyone would carry, could do a decent business just remarketing the high end ones off seed boutique.

i'm not ina 'legal' state, so even talking about growing can lead to relations with LEOs and 1 on 1 conversations are rare because one never knows who, exactly, they are talking to. My question may be simplistic or naïve but cant these diseased, PM producing, root aphid ridden clones be quarantined and bugs and diseases be eliminated before introduction into ones growing area? y'all not saying they have these things inbred into these clones, right?

I too do not have the time and/or facilities to 'go looking' for the right pheno from, for example, The White seeds..
although that is what I must do now.
