cheap music notation software?

saw MusEdit, pretty cheap at $59; anything cheaper? be nice to be able to print to .jpg. even something to just do tabs.

Id be surprised if any of them had an "Export to image" function, but you can easily take screenshots of any program and print them out in any graphics program, even MS Paint

tuxguitar is free, thus is only for linux, but is a "clone" of guitar pro. maybe you can grab the source code and compile on windows too.
