Cheap MH Lights

I recently bought (2) used 400w HPS lights off of craigslist for $25 each

They are security lights for a parking lot.

Both bulbs were burned out.

I purchased (2) bulbs for 6.25/each + shipping

Total cost for (2) working 400w HPS lights - $72.50

HTG price on a 400w is $129

Total saved is about 75%

For someone starting off, pretty much the two largest costs are the enclosure/tent and a HID light. This is a method of recycling and keeping more of the budget open for ventilation and good genetics!
