I saw Charlie address the antisemitism charge. All Charlie did was reference dude producer by his Jewish name, Hiem Levine. Then Charlie stated his mom is Jewish so he can't be an anti-Semite. Charlie also said they never established the identity of his mom's father. But apparently she's Jewish.
IMO, it's nothing like Mel Gibson. Jimmy Fallon does a Sheen impression where the interviewer asks Charlie his real (Hispanic) name. (lame joke) If the real Charlie had made insensitive remarks, Fallon would have skewered him.

The show producers have said that Sheen was missing his lines after taking a short hiatus for other shenanigans (for lack of a better word) before ranting on tv and Alex Jones' radio show. Calling the producer by his given name seemingly didn't help. IMO, the inference was a greedy Jewish producer keeping his star down on the farm. Greed may be more due to a legacy of bad jokes than Charlie's actual intent. A case of Charlie gnawing on metatarsal? Possibly.

Wall St is great. I like Platoon. Major League is silly but it's comedy. At it's best? Eh, it's got it's moments. Like when the manager drops his towel in front of the owner. I guess I'm a sucker for cornball shit.
IMO, all 3 Sheens have a propensity to over act. I've seen Martin in old black and white serials that will make folks chuckle today. But a good director gets another successful series like The West Wing. They're not character actors as much as they're themselves on screen. Their professional training helps dial the aspects the director wants (or in some cases fails to relate.) Whereas an actor like Christopher Walken could command practically any set with little director input.
