"From now on too, no matter what may happen, you must not slacken in the least. You must raise your voice all the more and admonish [those who slander]."

"It is rare to be born a human being. The number of those endowed with human life is as small as the amount of earth one can place on a fingernail. Life as a human being is hard to sustain— as hard as it is for the dew to remain on the grass. But it is better to live a single day with honour than to live to 120 and die in disgrace."

"And yet, though one might point at the earth and miss it, though one might bind up the sky, though the tides might cease to ebb and flow and the sun rise in the west, it could never come about that the prayers of the practitioner of the Lotus Sutra would go unanswered."

"Every problem is very real and pressing to the person concerned. When someone comes to you with a problem because they trust you, I hope you will listen sincerely and respond with empathy and compassion. It is absolutely vital thatyou respect the person’s privacy, maintaining strict confidentiality about what they tell you. Depending on the problem, it may sometimes be appropriate to take them to seek guidance from a trustworthy and more experienced senior in faith."

"Leave such people strictly alone. The time will certainly come when, by the workings of Brahma, Shakra, and other gods, the entire Japanese nation will simultaneously take faith in the Lotus Sutra. At that time, I am convinced, many people will insist that they too have believed since the very beginning."

"My mentor, second Soka Gakkai president Josei Toda, said: 'Daimoku is the great good medicine that can cure everything, from personal problems to the challenges facing society and humanity as a whole. The key is to decide to win through faith and keep on chanting to the very end. Daimoku is a source of limitless courage.'"

An enduring unshakable friendship is one of the most valuable assets in life that we can ever have! The lives of those who live with pride and integrity will as a matter of course shine gloriously and victoriously.

"Our chanting of Nam-myoho-renge-kyo is directed toward our human revolution. We don't just sit and wait for people or circumstances to change. Through our own powerful inner resolve, we change ourselves and seek to exert a positive effect on our environment and all those around us.

Our chanting is directed toward the happiness of ourselves and others. It is the driving force for our efforts to draw forth our own and others' Buddha nature and absolutely attain true happiness together with them.

Our chanting brims with deep commitment. We pledge and take action to achieve fresh victories and growth in order to realize the great vow of kosen-rufu. This is the pride and honor of the Bodhisattvas of the Earth."

"The sound of SGI members chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo now reverberates unceasingly throughout the world 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are trailblazers, heroic individuals paving new paths forward. With the heart of a lion king, let's each elevate our state of life, help others form a connection with Nichiren Buddhism, foster capable people for kosen-rufu and triumphantly open a new age of Soka.

Sharing a vow
from the remote past-
let us once again this year resolutely build
a great citadel of victory."

Hey Brother! I just used your repost to connect to the video, so I know It's there. Let it load completely. The latest shows will broadcast automatically. There is a list of shows running up and down the left side of the broadcast window when it is minimized. You have to go down the list to the show title "Last Word" . Click it and the menu of broadcasts will all be from his show, The Last Word. Look at his re-write segment (third one down from the top till his next show). That is the segment I want to encourage everyone to see. It ends up talking about the bible.

Bowing in humble obeisance!

"The Brazilian author Erico Verissimo (1905–1975) wrote: 'When the winds of change blow, some people raise barriers while others build windmills.'[1] We must never let change hold us back or intimidate us. Instead, we should boldly seize it as an opportunity, using our courage and wisdom to create from it something of even more value for people’s happiness and the welfare of society. This is the Soka way of life demonstrated by the first three presidents.

"President Dorival Almeida Ferreira of Brazil’s Dom Bosco College of Higher Education, who visited the Soka University campus in Tokyo in September, has also experienced the difficulties and challenges of founding a school in a time of great change. Speaking of his philosophy in life, he has said: 'When you decide to do something, you should persevere at it until you succeed.... Don’t blame others for what you can’t do, but ask yourself what it is that you can do.'[2]"
