More than likely his actual concern is FedNOW. But he can't articulate that until someone else provides a link for him.

And FedNOW is kind of concerning, but nothing to get too worked up about yet. The banks already have all of this information and share it with each other and the Fed already. FedNOW just streamlines that process. Ever notice how it takes 3-10 days to clear a check from a different bank instead of the 3-10 seconds it should in today's world? FedNOW fixes that.

If he actually was concerned about privacy (which is about what FedNOW alarmists are all concerned about), he'd be all for strengthening our privacy laws here in the US and not worry about who is sharing what information because there is nothing for them to share. But no. It's the typical knee jerk reaction to change.
