I currently work in IT, its an ok job but its getting worse, has been for the past year and a half. Its getting harder and harder to get out of bed to head to the place.
I keep thinking of the saying "do what you love and find a way to get paid for it and you will never "work" a day in your life". I crave something I am happy to do.
The law aside, Im well aware their are ways to make this happen but to be able to do it on the up and up so to speak sounds more promising.
I dont have experience on a large scale but I do love plants even beyond our loved MJ. I find myself calm, relaxed, engaged, attentive, challenged and generally happy when dealing with my plants.
In the wake of legality, which I believe will happen sooner or later, Im thinking of what I need for a career in the industry, Prefereably with MJ. Im looking at Kwantlen and they have some horticulture classes that stick out to me. The main one being Greenhouse and Nursery Production.
Do you think a course like this would be the best way to make a living in the industry on the legit side of things? What do people in the horticulture industry make with this kind of training?
Im all ears and any input it appreciated.
