It would be interesting to test wether it would make a difference if one was to smoke only sativas....

The results would be mixed...
Half would be energized and on a mission, but the other half will suddenly stop, announce that they are going home for some unspecified reason, and quickly swim back home and close the curtains.

ive smoked for close to 20 years and mostly heavy indicas (hash) (though quite a bit of pure sativas for the last 2 years. but not only.)

my wife and i tried for 2 months and then she was pregnant.

and i smoke as soon as i wake up and and all day and till i sleep and have done so for most of the 20 years of smoking. :)

edit : might have something to do with it then, smoking alot of pure sativas (vietnamese) for the last 2 years, and ive always had an overabundance of testosterone (balding and hairy whatnot along with all the manly tendencies lol.)

I found these, most were on Mice though.... Obviously a lot more studies on the human population are needed to get to the bottom of this.

One thing to point out - it was found that the Cannabinoid system (anadamide) is involved in controlling male reproduction - so maybe certain cannabis genetics & terpenoids work better than others for sperm health.

Effects of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, the primary psychoactive cannabinoid in marijuana, on human sperm function in vitro.

It's not THC or the ganj, that didn't effect me at all. my wife and I have 2 awesome boys, damn.

One thing effecting males in the world is Pyrethroids, there's quite a few studies showing that exposure to this stuff over the years inhibits production of the male sperm count. damages and basically make some men sterile.
you could be one of those.

Let's see now...

Wife and I tried for a kid for 5 years... basically quit using any birth control since it was a no-go.

Ended up with about $600 worth of extra and WONDERFUL fresh food and veggies, really great stuff. Ate that for 2 months, the wife lost 5lbs and "BAM" she started throwing up. *shrug* That was during a time when I had a LOT of meds available and I was thoroughly saturated with cannabinoids.

We've since gone off all processed foods in the last year and our diets are completely by blood type now. So much for no birth control needed. LOL

The food you eat has a significant impact on your body, in more ways than you would normally think of.

My daughter is freaking awesome! LOL YMMV

Stay Safe! :blowbubbles:
