munkey co co is not soil.It can however be amended and treated like soil.I know you can reuse co co.IM sure it would have to be heavily rinsed.Co co does dry out faster then soil.Sunshine mix sells a co co peat medium that is more like soil. I have considered this but have never tried it.You could even amend pro mix...So many options
Most people on the coco forum only reuse it for 2-3 times and it does break down eventually. Also if you use it as the base ( probably anything over 60%) you are asking for problems in organic. As an amendment it works good. Too much and you'll have to deal with its strange nature.
So the coco is pretty much done with after a few grows? I thought it would get better over time as the coco is now living coco. I want to make an organic recycled living soil using coco and not have to replace the coco ever.
Yes tokersmoke your posts are helpful. I wanted to use coco because I was thinking I would get better results with it instead of peat. I've used coco with synthetics in the past and it worked good. I'm trying to keep things simple now and having to ph would defeat that purpose.
