LOL..Yes we are still reading.... You have to identity the insect to really know what to do. Adding a inch of DE will help with most insects. That stuff just shreds them. I think (this is a pure guess) you have root aphids.
Are you completely organic?
Did you determine what the pest is? It looks to me like at least part of it was coming from the close distance to the light. I've had the same thing happen to me numerous times although not quite as severe. If you do in fact have root aphids that's definitely your other source. If not I'd say it's mostly the light. Tell me are the leaves that are being shaded by the top leaves also yellow? A good way to tell if it is from too intense of light is to check that. If they are not yellow directly underneath you've solved your problem. if they are yellow the chances of it being from the light are much smaller imo of course.
Other than that everything looks good man, show us a few more pictures
I have had early yellowing before with Humboldt Nutrients Organic line before. They have a new and revised feeding schedule. It definitely looks like nitrogen deficiency. Up the "grow" a bit. The bloom is at 0-10-0 and the grow is only 3-x-x. I would recommend Wegener in your next feeding. I switched to this during veg then when started 12/12 I went straight to the HN. Haven't seen the same early yellowing like last round with the HN. Are you also using the Calcium and Magnesium? I switched to the equilibrium and like it better than the 2 separate formulas.
If you are using the Mayan Mycrozyme it needs to be made into a tea first. What you buy on the shelf is a concentrate.
No...all the leaves are yellowing. I've taken the lights up to about 24-30 inches. That was many days ago. In the past few days, the leaves have started falling off at the bottom. It seems to be getting worse...and picking up pace
Still 30 days left on them. Please lord, don't let me lose this crop.
And thank you. You've known me for a fair bit on this forum and I don't think I've ever posted any pics. I'm still a new grower and a bit self conscious.
So again. Thank you.
Bummer man, that sucks. Look hard for the root aphids.. They are probably there if you have already seen bugs crawling around the surface.
And homie you got nothing to be ashamed of, plants look great, you're on your way to a dank harvest. i've had plants do this before and you know what? They will be ok and still be super dank just will yield a little less.
keep em coming!
This is my first time using the wegeners throughout the veg cycle with watering in between. I don't have the yellowing like last time where I just used HN straight through. Yellowing last time for me started on a few plants 2 weeks in 12/12! Yield sucked! Get some wegeners and give them a good dose or 2 of that. The MagiCal should go in with your normal feeding. Everything looks great besides the yellowing!
Maybe try to spread them a bit further apart and spread each girly out with some stakes so that the bottoms can get a bit more light.
I just got a new rubbermaid 50 gallon trash can I bubble my water in. But this started happening before I put the new trash can into the room.
I'm trying to figure out a way to sterilize all our soil for the next run as well (I'm taking suggestions on how to do this with a large amount so please....suggest away).
Any other suggestions? Any responses? Anyone want to call me an asshole?...a saint?
