Is a prop 215 doctors recommendation quantifiable in Michigan? I have anxiety and am prescribed xanax and suffer from cachexia (low appetite, underweight) and my girlfriend has type 1 diabetes but if we move from ca to michigan we dont want to have an overlap in lack of medicine by having to spend lots of time going through the michigan medical marijuana system...

As A visitor to the State, as long as you have a Rec from another state it is recognized in MI. But after living here you will need to re up through MI.

You still have to understand that MI has no system in which to LEGALLY disperse to an out of state patient at this current time. While you could source your own and be protected if pulled over...no medical caregiver could LEGALLY serve/sell/offer anything to you....because all definitions say that a caregiver is only allowed to provide medicine for those he/she has a card for. (meaning patients that have enlisted said person as a caregiver)

So, you would be legal in obtaining it, but anyone providing it would be in an illegal position....but once in possession of it, you would be legal to have it....however, if your transaction is "observed" then they are going to stick it to you regardless if carded or not. MI law enforcement has NOT been that friendly to the medical scene as of late...

Gotta love it!
