California MMJ rules

Yes, in D.C., Alaska, Oregon, Washington and Colorado the laws keep changing as they pile up new regulations and restrictions. Some laws are easing things, some are making it harder. Its going to be a wild ride in California as things settle down and 2018 approaches. Same in Nevada, Mass, Maine, and now maybe Vermont. In California (like Oregon and Colorado) local municipalities have authority over Cannabis laws as well, so the laws will be highly regional as to where you can buy, sell, grow etc.

And in the end in California as I read it, MMJ will be going away as they merge medical with rec. The only thing you will get is a break on sales tax (which is what you get in Oregon with an OMMP card now, though in Oregon they have retained MMJ laws separately from rec for the time being).
