I am planning on building a 60 gallon brewer and am trying to figure out what air pump and method of diffusion I want to use. I know MicrobeMan says the Ecoplus 5 is good up to 50 gallons. The specs say it puts out 88 liters/minute.
There is an Eco 7, that is considerably more money, but puts out 200 liters/minute.
Is there such a thing as too much air or is bigger better?
As far as diffusion I know I can always go the PVC route but there are a lot of interesting diffusers to choose from. I'm willing to spend some coin on quality. Any suggestions?
These look pretty cool but don't know if something like this would work:http://www.aquaticeco.com/subcatego...rs?green=F1C58F26-6E89-5C5A-974B-456654A8CCFF
they say they make industrial grade ones for solvents and such.
Opinions appreciated!
