I have to say that I’m really surprised no one has anything to say about Bowie here in the Music forum...unless I missed something? Even Dave Cameron and the Pope had something to say about him when he died. Some bloke in Belgium even named a new constellation after him.

My first ever rock album was by Bowie. Before that it was all Disney sound tracks and the Monkees then my parents bought me a cassette recorder with a blank tape and the album, Aladdin Sane on a pre-recorded tape. It blew my 12 year old mind. Listening to it now, more than forty years later it still does. And it’s still got the best ever album cover too.
