Blynx's 1 sqft CFL cab & other CFL micro cabs

have you ever moved the 11 11 cab ? i see fat leaf in the same spot every time, seems to work for time shots, the c99shire sure sprung back nicely , the gg4 is frickin getting thick at 9 weeks, looking awesome as usualy , is this first harvest with leds? does it make the bud more or less potent ?

I think I pretty much just left it alone the whole time. I used to pull the plant out to take pics, but since I stopped doing that for the most part, I just take shots from different angles with and without the light on.

The GG4 under the 90w of LEDs is the first LED run since I tested a light from ledgirl years ago.

I can't tell a difference in potency from LED/HPS/CFL.

There are drain holes in the container in the 11" x 11" cab. The only containers that don't have drain holes are the rectangle containers like above and the GG4 in the 90w LED cab.

The scrog cab is the other cab I was planning flowering with LEDs to see how the yield compares to previous runs with CFLs.

Here's what the setup currently looks like.

I normally run 3 x 42w CFLs and 2 x 23w CFLs in this cab for a total of 172w.

I now have a plant ready to flower in this cab. Let's see how she does under LEDs.

Based on the measurements I got from the LEDs I'm gonna go for it and try to run a flowering cycle in this cab with 60w of LEDs. That's almost 1/3 the wattage I've been using.

Here's the fixture I put together. I'm going to go with 6 x 10w LEDs this round.

Edit - my following question was answered (in part) ealier on the thread. No noticeable difference in potency.

This is fascinating stuff! A really helpful and informative thread the results of which will have impact, one way or the other, on many micro-growers, I think. Have a question for you if you don'rt mind.

The cabs you are already running with your modded LEDs look like thye are doing really well. The proof is in the pudding but would you mind sharing your impression so far on how they stand up against your CFL grows (albeit they were on higher wattages)?

Will understand if you don't feel like jumping the gun and would rather wait till it's dried and tried.

What ever happened to that other GG4 you had going under the 90w LED? I would like to see how the yield compares to the CLF and some bud shots if you have any

on a side note: please remember to be careful when removing the domes off of these LEDs. i got 4 clean just fine, but i slipped with mu blade on the 5th light and ended up severing a tendon in mu finger. oops! Thank goodness for the US's forced insurance!
