Selection is definitely key.
So is the skill to cultivate plants reaching full potential to determine its overall quality and potential.
From experience I found that seed plants usually take 3 runs (cuttings) to adapt to its specific environment to evaluate its potential.

thank for chimmig in Sam.

yes, that proper cultivation is very important. some of us grow it poor and then drop it. but it is right or natural. if you cant grow it right, then it is better to drop it hehehehe

pure sativas are so hard to grow indoors, that most drop it... it is on breeder to recognize potential of those "drop it" lines and make it more easy to grow by making hybrid from it...

yes, adaptation. not only cuttings but the whole seedline, I found that seedline that I make in my indoor environment grows better in my environment, than seedline from somebody else, even it is similar genetics... that´s why it is important for me to test progeny in different environment. many thanks to all testers who help me with it...

thats why I like greenhouses, it adapts quickly there . you gyus, back in early 90s, grew a lot of stuff in greenhouses? yes? I saw big industrial greenhouses full of plants on pics, all before 1998.

RESPECT.

What do you think @MAHA KALA , time to come down?
It's been cool the last few weeks which might have delayed ripening a little

I chopped her today and took a few better picks while I had the space, tried for more symmetry :p would have been mighty if I didn't have to chop the top half
She was very easy to pluck the few leaves ready for hanging
The aroma is hints of fresh forest berries on a deep, dank background :)

@StickyBandit damn that looks fucking nice, waiting for smoke report!!

@numide great to see some outdoors in your garden, looking forward to the show

I've been smoking first two plants a couple of days now but they are just dry no curing at all, potency is very satisfying on both, I slow down considerably after half the joint.
Need to smoke a bit more to work out the details of the high.

Just finished trimming them actually, here are a few dry and trimmed shots.

#2 this one is lovely, nice mix of head and body, a bit dizzying in a drunk hangover kind of way but not stupefying and also smokes great considering how fresh it is. Deep herbal aroma with spicy details.
I like the silverish look of the buds a lot.

#3 this is very similar in the base with some berry details, a bit less potent than #2 I think

your pics are good @StickyBandit, we see that abudant bud structure

@numide GOOD LUCK! with hawaiian gas, you have to look for balls early on flowering and for nanners in later flowering... but still worthy and super rare genetics...

@JustGrowing420 dizzy yes, vietnamese can be dizzy... not sure it is like that at your blue sting, but at vietnamese it seems to me similar like when you eat mushrooms... that dizzy feeling... I associate it more with dizziness of psychedelic substance than alcohol dizziness... thank you for first smoke impressions and pics of buds. I am sure that with curing it will get more potent and mainly those longer flowering ones will be more potent too. probably..

haze on.

Yes probably a better word would be light-headed? It's like head feels its moving more than it actually does.
Got to say it's great for a 10 week plant. Music is fucking awesome with this one too, I look for this a lot in my highs and always happy to find it!

You are a wise man leaving all those hand (fan) leaves on your plants, even while flowering. Many discount their benefits, but they take the shock of something like what happened to you, as well as being important light receptors. They' are very mportant for its overall health, and those that needlessly strip them, unknowingly do significant harm.
Man!!! Soooo many younger growers don’t understand this. They are so caught up in emulating their favorite commercial facility grower they dont realize the harm they do the plant. They think nutes equal yield and the only thing that increases yield is light and the plants need to be able to catch as much light as possible. My mantra is “no light on the fuckin floor”.

Oh Yeah, fock yeah, hell yeah!! Thank you!! Man you have the good shit!! Please see my email I sent earlier today. That Moloka’i is sooo damn good! I had some MF rosin from a buddy that ran it then did the squish. Face melting shit. I have MF beans from Goodgear but haven’t gotten to them yet. Last thing I ran from Huesos was Asian Beauty and the time before that was Oger x Oger/Hmong Thai. this gives me butterflies because I just saw another cross with BT bubba x haze made by someone at another site that looked very good. Hopefully, I can get some of your beans started, vegged outside and then flower indoors and out for a holly jolly motherfockin Christmas.

exactly it is melting, but mind melting shit... posi haze gives it more clearness, but hawaiian hashplant took off edginess jittery nervousness. so it may fit you. haze prolonged the effect up to 3 hours or little less. there are firm females, I love this tropical fruit gassy pheno... very special hawaiian haze:

I found pic of Hawaiian Webbed Indica grown in Japan. it is not webbed at all as you see, only some phenos

fetch

molokai frost on left, HWI on right.

it is nice, it just needs kick from haze or diesel imo. tha docta crossed HWIMF with face off I think, and guy who shared Molokai Frost on boards, Flyinghawaiin ended up growing MF x Lemon Heads instead of MF... back in the days I grew MF x GWS from Motarebel, pretty good too...

the best hawaiian I have ever grew is Kona Gold cut though. mother of Tropical Boogie and Kona Uprise.

yeah strawberry pheno of IS was bubblegummy too... pineapple pheno too... in this regard I would not say it comes from juicy fruit thai, as there is no juicy fruit thai in IS, but fron NL genetics. did you grow amnesia core cut? it is bubblegumy, amnesia core is G13/SSH...

but in Blue Sting it can come from F13 too... there is some juicy fruit thai...

like I said there are many phenos, many possibilities in Blue Sting.

@bigtacofarmer mentioned blueberry muffin pheno too LOL
