From my experiance with people with mental disorders (including myself and my partner) I have seen mixed results using cannabis. I've basically found that people who have gone through therapy for some time and have learned tools to deal with there mental illness are less likely to have side effects and more likely to have positive impact on there disease. On the other hand I've generally seen that those who don't take medicine, take medicine but haven't had any breakthroughs through therapy, they seem to have a MUCH harder time, either they have no positive effects medically or it can make their condition worse.

I'm just giving my opinion from experiences with my own mental problems, friends, family and others mental conditions also.
