Because rino's don't practice what they preach. I'm not going to give up on what I believe in. In a true free market we wouldn't have any handouts for anybody, if you fail you fail.

So you don't believe in helping anyone if they fail through no fault of their own? Say like in the middle of a global pandemic. Or people being financial wiped out due to an illness.

What about helping a person who is trying to raise a child on their own after their partner dies during childbirth?

Nice to see your compassion for fellow humans.

In a pandemic I agree with helping those who need it most. Small farmers, restaurants, and people who lost their means of income due to a virus.

I was really referring to the corporate socialism he was addressing, I'm not for it. I don't believe in too big to fail.

I think after Pence certifies tomorrow and we hear the Dems took the senate my involvement in these threads is done.

Biden won, there's no proof of election fraud and Dems take the House, Senate and Presidency. What's happening in Georgia really goes to show you most southern states aren't Red, they're voter suppression states. Stacy Abrams is a super hero. These organizers and volunteers absolutely crushed it. It's inspiring.

Can't wait to hear Republicans all-the-sudden care about deficits and debt again! Just like magic they'll be like "The government added 7T to the debt, we need to do something about it" even tho it was them....

Charity work is not reviled among the LP.
In fact it is encouraged
the idea is that private charities should be doing the helping (and if we weren’t all paying half of our income to the govt imagine all the good works that could be done.
Leaving charity work to the most inefficient and expensive government in the history of mankind seems foolish and lazy to me

Trump is a pathetic individual who has conned his followers into believing Pence can change the election results.

The Art of the Loss
How to lose Bigly
By: a Loser who lost

What a great fuckin day. 2021 already looking up! Just to think in a months time we'll have a brand new President, a brand new Senate, a real Cabinet, an onslaught of pent up indictments, adults in control of the pandemic, a team of real disease experts having a coherent vaccine strategy, $2000 checks (maybe monthly?), Voting Rights Act. It's like Christmas all over again.

Let's be clear, here. Everything Trump touches turns to shit and dies. He lost his followers everything. Blame Trump.

It’s no sin to be conned but current
events require a strenuous level of willful ignorance to suppress the cognitive dissonance.

free market capitalism, like libertarianism, both sound good on paper, but also have never existed in the material world. this country has always been run by a monied elite.

there is no such thing as corporate socialism.

socialism means worker ownership of the economy.

"socialism for the rich" implies private ownership by large monied interests of the economy - which is just capitalism lol.

I disagree with your definition of SOCIALISM.

From Websters:

so·?cial·?ism | \ ?s?-sh?-?li-z?m \
Collegiate Definition
1 : any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods
2a : a system of society or group living in which there is no private property
b : a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state
3 : a stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done

To me, corporate socialism is when profits are privatized and the losses/risks/costs are socialized, meaning being covered by the tax payer.
What do you call it?

Almost time to dust off that Fox news debt clock from 2015

socialism being state ownership is western propaganda. marx wrote about worker ownership. 95% of socialists today talk about worker ownership not some stalin or china type shit.

gov't ownership is equated with socialism because of china, etc. those countries aren't socialist. they are state capitalist, or authoritarian capitalist.

socialism = an armed revolution of the workers (proletariat) to take over the means of production from private capitalists whereas private businesses wouldn't exist any longer, they'd be owned collectively by all who works for said company.

democratic socialism = socialism without the armed revolution

social democracy = capitalism w/ a welfare state (what bernie is and what American brainlets call socialism)
