Best shatter containers/packaging

Im curious about what most people around here package their shatter in?
How about for ozs and lbs?

If you buy shatter what has been the best packaging material/container and why?

I think its discontinued now, but I've been using Martha wrap foil + parchment in one. Its got the benefits of the non-stick parchment, but has the added benefit of being able to be folded and actually retain its shape, like foil. It works well up to about 60g per piece, as it is only 12" wide. I am sure some people can get more in, but even a 60g slab of shatter is pretty big. Even if packaging a lb, I still do it in small chunks, so its easier to be broken down later.

PTFE film for large amounts..but it still isn't safe from grime, could use a large ziplock after that. You can also pour out/purge on it.

These are absolute shit, along with all of the other food grade silicone containers. Not only does butane have a very negative reaction to food grade silicone(there shouldn't be much anyways, if its finished) but supposedly some terpenes are strong enough to strip paint!(quoting GW on that) Food grade silicone is not something that should come in contact with any cannabis extracts. The only circumstances which I will use those are when the product is wrapped in ptfe(or parchment, for others) prior.

I'd like to bump FE's question, looking for other methods/perspective considering it's been a year.

I usually fold slabs into pan lining paper(parchment/foil) and vacuum seal it in a seal a meal bag..

Right now I'm doing foil-backed parchment in greenline plastic bags, but I plan on switching to this:

I forgot to mention that I'm more or less talking about large quantities, or individual containers at a competitive wholesale price(for caregiving and dispensaries) on a large scale. Ect

Large Parchment "envelopes" inside a Ziplock,which I then go to buy a large plastic storage/organizer box at the Dollar General store.
These containers are only a few inches deep, but have various WxL sizes, only a buck or cheaper.

Sort of like a "pizza box" for storing/transporting erl.

Patients seem to love it, this little gesture of extra care show your patients your standards are high.
Also bought some blank sticker labels, label with strain(s) "Shattah" and your preferred production logo
I.e. FatherEarth's X-tracts in a fancy script. (Good penmanship helps a lot here)

I also use the mini Mason Jars lined with Parchment/Martha's Wrap.(label lid with a Sharpie)

Both of these, gives your patients confidence you care from beginning to the end.

One last thing, if you are delivering in hot weather, put your box in a cooler to keep it from melting, ruining your patty.

I do the 50/50 thing somewhat frequently, and I haven't lost one patient.
And, their friends will see this when they boast their oil.... More patients.

I have been pondering the parchment "envelope" option to mass packaging!

Another thing i may go with is buying the plastic containers and making my own round stickers using Avery, after gramming each one out I want to shrink wrap them together to hold about 20 containers per shrink wrap..

I currently do the same thing with small mason jars, one thing I don't like is folding up my slab into a ball.

I also have to keep my slabs in an ice chest IN another ice chest, the second one being full of ice. LOL

It def gets hot in the trunk when driving up and down Cali!

No problem brother, sounds like we are pretty similar.

I used to fold my slabs, and the action usually leads to nucleation after a week or so.

When I quit folding, not only increasing "bag appeal", but also retaining the integrity of the oil (remains stable).

Shrink wrap idea is purty neat.

I agree with you 100% about the nucleation! That is the problem with packaging the way I do if it's folded for longer than even just a few hours sometimes.

When I fold and vacuum seal nowadays, it's for mass storage over long periods. I fold, seal-a-meal, and then throw straight into the freezer.

I'll be sure to take a pic when I get my shrink wrap on

I personally like to use the Reynolds parchment lined foil for making little envelopes then they go into a small ziploc with the test label printed from Iron Labs

With how much I dab, I find simpler is better. My favorite so far is probably the simplest; parchment paper folded inside of a small paper envelope, stamped with the extractor's logo. It's easy to get into, doesn't take up much space, is environmentally friendly (compared to a plastic container), etc.
