I’m trying to give my girls a bit of a potassium boost. Outdoor grow In grow bags. Flowering for maybe two-three weeks now. I have four possibles on hand and wonder what anyone thinks might be best. I want something quick.
Espoma potash - granular. Thinking crush a teaspoon per gallon, let sit for a few days, strain and water. This is 0-0-60? derived from muriate of potash.
Fireplace ash - from hardwood. Same idea. A teaspoon in gallon of water, let sit, strain.
“Big Bud” from advanced nutrients - commercial product I bought a bunch of years ago. It looks like it’s for hydro grow though. 0-1-3. I’d rather not use this. But it is available.
Bananas - just scored a bunch from local store at .49 a lb. thinking throw a few peels into a bucket for a few days, maybe mash some, strain, water.
I realize I need to watch ph. I’ve only used rainwater, except once. Ph was 8.1 . Rainwater where I am is low ph, something like 5.5.
Which you all think best?
