It can be painful.
I was using a pin to tear off chunks of a stickier oil... heating it to release the glob of goodness.
It works really well unless you spread it over far too much of the pin (probably due to trying to pick up too much oil) causing extra heating time... which may be a problem...
The extra surface area also slows release time, and may alter the generated target from bowl top to big toe.
It may then sear down into your cuticle and cause you to throw your beer all over your foot and leap to your feet, sending your dog skittering across the floor yelping while you dance around like they did in Gilligan's Island.
Or you could just be careful... and not have a mess on your hands.
