Hi, and thanks for the :tiphat:.

It's members such as yourself that help me
keep inspired to pop more and carry on!

Stay tuned for continued adventures in micro grow.

The thunk and BC 04 cuttings showing root nubs.

BC 04 is a bonus, very close to the lost F2 03 02.

The thunk recovery will make me happy, no doubt.

Need to decide on the first seeds to pop, but will wait
until lock down is eased up to have full access to the space.

Full access granted, will post again after seed selection.

Stoked.

There is plenty of excellent stash to select from for smoke,
no worries there, so the next batch of new plants will return
to the project involving the sensi star nycd crosses.

And the thunk x white rhino, lol

Soaked F2 03 02 x P1

Soaked thunk x WR

Got tails overnight of the F2 03 02 x P1

All the thunk x WR seeds sunk to the bottom, no tails.

Seed stock from the cross in 2016, held in the fridge with rice.

Will pot in small cups of pasteurized seedling soil mix.

After these seedings take root I'll pop some F1 x P1.

Thunk cuttings rooted and potted in 16 oz cups.

BC 04 rooted and potted in 16 oz cups.

Culled 21 plants due to lock out, will be back on track in a few months.

Lots of F1 and F2 seeds to pop for the project, some back cross too.

Fuck a bunch of corona virus, lol.

Thanks, starting over will bring better results.

Happy to have the seeds from the crosses I made.

Good times ahead.

Got five thunk x WR sprouts.

Six of the F2 30 02 x P1 sprouts too.

Also, three BC 04 cuttings potted in 16oz coco cups.

Two thunk cuttings potted in 16oz coco cups.

After a few weeks will flip two of the BC 04,
and hold one for mum stock, and flip a thunk, why not, lol.

One thunk will be held in veg as mum plant.

Will flip all the thunk x WR after suitable veg time,
just to flower test the cross. Certainly will have good
stash from that cross. Lots more seeds of that cross to pop
when I want more.

The thunk x WR seed stock is just for F1 platns to smoke,
no immediate plans to work that cross.

Since the original WR male was lost, I'll need to pop
some seeds of the WR x WR I made to find a replacement WR P1.

Such is life.

The F2 30 02 x P1 plants will take cuttings, then flip.

They are looking fine. Newly sprouted seedlings always gladden the heart. :)
Are those the mums in the buckets to the right?

Yup, the pots on the right are 16oz cups that hold the cuttings
saved in the fridge during lockout.

Rooted in tap water a week or so and potted in coco hempy.

You bet I love seedlings, they hold such promise for the future!

All the seedlings been transplanted to 16 oz cups and will flip
all the thunk x WR soon.

Need to decide on the next round of seeds to pop after the cuts
taken from the F2 03 02 lot in veg.

Will take cuttings of the BC 04 and flip the donor plants.

Thunk cuttings taken and will flip a thunk soon, damn the the summer heat.

Maybe transplant the thunk to living soil mix before the flip, we'll see.

The plan is to place as many plants in flower to justify the flower box usage.

On deck for flowering, thunk x WR, thunk, and a couple BC 04.

Hopefully take first yield this year around mid July.

Fuck covid 19.

For the thunk, and future select cuttings, I am weighing
the use of living soil.

Is this still a valid recipe for veg tea:

1/3 cup Peruvian Seabird Guano (PSG)
1/3 cup High N Bat Guano (Mexican)
1/3 cup Earth Worm Castings (EWC)
5 tsp. Maxicrop 1-0-4 powdered kelp extract
(That makes the "dry mix". You can make all you want and save it to use later.)

Mix with water @ 5 teaspoons of dry mix into 1/2 gallon of water to make the tea.

To that add:
1+1/2 teaspoon Liquid Karma
1+1/2 teaspoon Black Strap Molasses

Use it to water with every 3rd watering +/-

Working out what to plant in limited space when there are lots of fun seeds to explore is an adventure... cant wait to see what you find. Its been a trip so far.

Wondering how your annotation works - when you say "F2 03 02", do you mean seed from an F2 plant that was grown from seed made with 2 F1 siblings (F1 03 x F1 02)?

F2 03 02:

First here was F1 01, F1 02, F1 03 female of bagseed x (nycd x sensi star)

Those three, bagseed x (nycd x sensi star) were crossed with
a selected F1 male bagseed x (nycd x sensi star) to produce the F2.

F2 is bagseed x (nycd x sensi star) crossed with bagseed x (nycd x sensi star).

So F2 03 02 is the result the F1 mum 03, crossed with the F1 male.

F2 03.

F2 03 02 is the second, and kept, pheno of that line.

Excellent question, I hope the answer helps you appreciate the
importance of accurate notes taken when making a cross.

I lost that F2 02 03, but can get her back with the seeds from the cross F1 03 x F1.

Thank you! :) I can see how it is rapidly going to get complicated once I start growing out the seeds I've made (have pollinated a bud of just about everything I grew this past 6 months with whatever males were around at the time... I've got a lot of seeds... ) I've been documenting everything, though!

Transplanted the two thunk to living soil, modified VerdantGreen soil mix:

3 parts peat, Pro Mix.
2 parts topsoil, Black Gold, 0.5N
3 parts perlite, both the peat and soil had perlite included, none added.
1 part mushroom compost, omitted per me.
1 part fresh worm casts, added after pasteurization.
2 parts coco (to keep open structure preferred by sativas),

Dolomite lime 5g/litre, omitted by me.
N guano - 2.5g/litre
P guano - 5g/litre (2.5g/litre for veg)
Rock phosphate 1g/l
rock potash 1g/l
seaweed meal 5g/l

That blend was pasteurized, worm castings added afterwords.

I'll aerate tea with guanos and worm castings for their pleasure,
watering with the tea every few days.

If the soil mix promotes gnats, I will re pot in coco and do a bleach wash
for all potted plants.

I don't relish a gnat infestation.

Flipped the thunk x White Rhinos, five plants, last week,
no cuttings taken, as these are for head stash, not breeding stock at this time.

Flipped some BC 04 too, three plants, her cuttings are in water
for rooting for future plants.

There will be yield, 70 days +/-.

Also have some thunk cuttings in water, nubs are there.

Transplanted some plants to living soil,
maybe get some stronger terps, we'll see.
