Im in the process of trying the above method, I left a hbd over time and shes just started putting out single bananas for my fem bean seed run

I just finished my 6 site 10 gallon DWC system. I need some seasoned opinions please!
* What size pump should I get? I figure at least a 40 gph I also have a 60 gph but tomorrow is payday and I am buying a 100 gph so I will have choices.
* Should I use Distilled water or can I use tap(well water) & just Ph it?

uptosumpn, if the seed bank says its an 8 week auto then the male bananas will show around week 10 -11. I have friends wanting to pay $15.00 for feminized autoflowering seeds, the seeds is now worth more than the weed.lol

I'm going to do it with Himalayan Blue Diesel, Big Devil auto, EasyRider, Blue Himalayan, Mi5 & the Auto BlueBerry. To me it is worth seeding all of these plants just this ounce to get hundreds of seeds of stable strains and crosses. I am shooting for an auto-flowering Afghan x Himalayan Blue Diesel, Afghan is already early so it shouldn't be to hard to get it to auto-flower.
A word to the wise, Short Rider is an autoflower that grows wildly for 40-45 days before any sign of flowering. The short Rider flowered under 20/4 light regiment but it took 40-45 days and there was 2 phenotypes, 1 was tall and sativa dominant and the other was short with thick stalk and was no sativa to be seen in this pheno.

So far Himalayan Blue Diesel is my favorite auto strain, it just grows so much faster than any of the other Auto-flowering strains that I am growing. It also loves the bubble-ponics system, I am going to move them to a 10 gallon DWC when the roots fill out a little more. US Customs got my last 3 orders that were ony standard shipping so I placed 2 orders under Guaranteed shipping, I trust the Guar. shipping method cause I have received all orders that were guaranteed.

I just have 2 Master kush males flowering that i would like to do some Auto hybrids with. Thinking of mixing the MK pollen with a HBD female then crossing the resulting females back with HBD. Throw a little lemon skunk in the genetics and see what kind of auto-hybrid I have to work with.
I really wanted to mess with a tall Big Devil pheno but all three seeds have made shit plants.

I am getting the hang of my DWC bubble-ponics system and I think my plants like it also.lol
Some people said that Himalayan Blue Diesel wouldn't respond well to hydro but they are loving it so far. The blueberry is doing great, I am growing pure Haze #1 & I am not familiar with hazes so to me these long, skinny leaves are like nothing I've seen before!

Hey neal, just got done reading thru this whole thread! and i must say the blueberry looks like it is gonna be delicious!!! as far as your DWC questions, im glad you up'd it to the 10 gallon res. that is my biggest problem mine is a 2 G. and my girl is sucking down a Gallon a day now! you are doing good on the nute side, i like to start out at 1/4 strength and do a resevoir change every week, and once the roots hit water ill start up'ing the strength by 1/4 every week till i reach my nutes rec. feeding dose! just watch your girls they will def. tell you if they like it or not! Now as far as the water level, i like to keep mine about 1/4" to 1/2" from the bottom of my netty pots! It is something you will have to play with cause i use the 3" netty pots! But you want the bubbles that come to the surface (of the water) to saturate the medium to keep the plant moist, but not too high cause you dont want algea growth at the top of your medium! I still have them in the 3 1/2 gallon res.
I made the mistake of cutting the wholes in the lid for 5" net pots and my HBD are in 3" net pots.

I have 5 females under my 400 watt HPS, The 2 HBD in the DWC aren't showing yet.
I think that I am going to be able to do the hydro so its time to start 4 more hbd and let the male(if there are any) pollinate all the females. I will make sacrifices for some good seed so I can do a perpetual harvest.

looking good man! to be honest its still saveable (if thats a word! ha) if you wanted to go to the 10G set-up since the roots arent a huge root ball they can be switched! just buy a new lid and cut the 3" holes and slid em' in roots plant and all! ha. they are def. looking good tho! i think you will def. like this set-up it is low maintenance, and will give you awesome results! what Nutes are you using on the DWC?

They are really easy to make just get the airstone, hosing, & pump at a local pet shop. I love DWC, I can't wait to start 6 Mi5 in the 10 g. system.

Now that's gonna be effin crazy!!! I like the way u thinkin' too! shit you might easily get 2oz per....! BUT, remember those get big, so u may wanna rethink how many to start being your gonna need/want good spacing.....Hell I am thinking about LST'ng my 2 mi5 fems?!!! I read somewhere on here that it's great for the lower branches, but I kinda forgot when it should be started....i'm sure someone will answer....

This is a great thread, sorry i jumped in a little late but better late than never. I may have to do this after my first reg seed stock.. Maybe i can get some fem Purple jems going out of this and then maybe one day the blue hash auto....
