Great! That one is breeding material..

Thanks Teide! I am crossing this one with a Mimosa male I have that’s stem rub smell is like orange peel and had some variegation as did this Thai #2 (though only slight). I am really attracted to variegation and would like to include it in one of my crosses :thank you:

I've been really wanting some of those ABC seeds but they seem to be sold out :(

The duck web leaf trait is something I've been interested in as well

Awesome thread!

Thanks for this thread, very interesting!
I been looking for some duckfeet seeds in Australia, but havent had any luck. Most ones I found are from overseas.. doesn't make sense for me to buy seeds native to Aus from overseas and charged international postage :(

Thanks for checking it out!:thank you:

I love all the variations of leaves and growth. Ducksfoot and Duck Web are amazing to grow and nice for the daytime.

I looked at their website and they still have site 4 in stock. Best of luck to you!!

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble getting native varieties. Best of luck in your searches! Sometimes while you try to find the thing on your mission, you find some other wonderful things and people you couldn’t have dreamed up :) Good luck gewse!

Do you find the tomato cage useful, miasa? I've seen many use it lately, especially on the abc and subt, but it doesn't seem to give much support or training, and the plants don't seem to need it either, from what I've seen. Just curious.
I tried to find info on your mimosa as well. Is it your name or a well known strain? Hoping you get stable variegation in the thai x mimosa like you have in the reindeer cross.

My site 4 are popping up like mushrooms now, eight so far. Planning on intercrossing them and using the site4 pollen also on a few other plants. They look like normal cannabis so far as small seedlings. I was hoping they looked different from the moment they broke soil, so I could have them growing in the open next to chili seedlings. Guess they will change appearance as they grow. If not, I will nevertheless try to select for phenos that look the most different.

The c99xabc are one week ahead of the site 4. These look healthy and just like any sativa hybrid plantlet. They are put straight under 12/12 just to sex them and produce seeds as soon as possible.
Planning on using site4 pollen on them if no male shows up for an intercross between the c99xabc.

Hi Teide, The tomato cage doesn’t seem to do much right now but I expect it will give minimal support once some weight is put on by the flowers. I would say layered trellis for the ABC as the stems do not seem like they will support much weight, but I will have to see once she gets closer to harvest time.

The Mimosa is a popular strain from Symbiotic Genetics; Clementine x Purple Punch. I’m really hoping I can get it stable soon too, thanks for your support!!:thank you:

The first two cotyledon look like cannabis but the first set of tru leaves do not. I have used plant ID apps on the ABC and it does not register as cannabis until the first two weeks into flower. Once the ABC starts to throw pistols out, it’s clearly Cannabis, so I wouldn’t grow it in the open if it could endanger your safety or security.

Best of luck of your pollinations!!

I was going to work this line with some OG but it appears that Humboldt CSI is working a Triangle Kush x ABC line and selecting for the ABC leaf with the OG Kush smell and flavor so I will be picking those up once they drop and just continue their work with my own selections of their stock.:plant grow:

What plant ID apps do you use?

I am very in love with this plant! She is really beautiful from sprout to flower so far. She is starting to develop some amazing pink and purple colors on the flowers. Resin is starting to develop as well. Super honored and excited to grow this plant of the Australian :thank you:

It looks great! This is my first time speaking on icmag. I am Chinese and have always wanted to buy a pack of ABC site4 ibl, but Humboldt csi does not support BTC.

It really looks great. Quite big as well, seems taller than I expected. I wonder if the purple phenos are less prevalent than the green. I would like red stems on mine. Purple buds will be pretty, but I wonder about the feel and potency differences between green and purple phenix. In quite a few strains the purple phenos are less potent. Maybe this is the case with abc as well?
Can't wait to see how it develops onwards! You're doing a great job, miasa, thank you for all the nice photos!

Out of all the landrace/ heirloom varieties I have grown, the ABC most closely resembles the structure, stretch and later flower time I would associate with South East Asian varieties like Thai, Laotian and Vietnamese. Though it is much slower in its vegetative growth than any other landrace/ heirloom variety I have cultivated.

I have read reports of growers in OZ saying the “Red phenos” were the more psychoactive, but it was something I found on the web a while ago and do not remember the source to back the claim. I am already in love with this plant before it started flowering but now I can’t stop hovering over her :) Pink, purple and reds. I’m excited for the fall harvest this year! Thanks for your support!:thank you:

Balkhi Afghani

She’s got some pretty looking flowers with a deep earthy, rich black soil aroma. Small sample of the flower just smoked and it was nice and relaxing, a bit creeper on the mental effect but it’s a relaxing stone I am enjoying and is tiring the day around for me :)

I am so pleased with the way that this OG seed turned out! Really nice aroma and the sample flower was some of my favorite that I just took off a branch to enjoy while she finishes up a little more. Beautiful silver -blue coloring and super trichome rich. I am grateful for this amazing plant and what she has done this year :)

Seasons Smokings

Seasons Smokings

So the fires in my area have been pretty terrible this year and more ash raining than any previous fire season. Last Monday, it started to rain ashes. I pulled down the OG and Balkhi Afghani as they were the furthest along In flowering. I will update both of those with a smoke report soon :)

The Thais are slowly and elegantly beginning to flower and I am excited to see the south East Asian sweetness :)
