I have been researching a move to Arizona so I can legally cultivate my needed medication. The problem is that Arizona prohibits cultivation if you are within 25 miles of a dispensary. That equals 625 square miles from a dispensary. At 125 dispensary's that could limit growers to one third of the states land mass open to self cultivation. I grow my own to assure myself quality chemical free medication that I can afford on a limited disability income.
Unless you live in the middle of the desert in Arizona you will not be able to legally grow your own medications. So patients who grow their own will not be near medical facilities, groceries, support groups and public transportation. They will be slaves to the dispensaries quality, grow methods and prices.
The 25 mile limit assures Arizona's Cannabis dispensaries will be taken over by a few corporate type organizations and patients will have to grow illegally to assure themselves quality affordable chemical free Cannabis. So whats the point in having the law?
