Are Women too Aggressive?

D'oh... What's that tribe in Africa? Once a year, the men dress themselves in their finest beads and paint their faces and lips to look sensual. Then they line up and dance for the women, who bid on their mates for the coming year. At the end of the year, she can choose to keep her fella, or if she has a roving eye, she can go back to the market place and pick herself another honey. I particularly like the annual renewal option.

What was the question again? Are women too agressive? No. A lot of men are pussies though.

Seriously, I have been divorced for 6 years following a 36 year marriage and have suffered from severe ED for the last 7 years, so I am now a noncombatant in the war between the sexes. Speaking of aggressive women, my daughter and I went to a bar/restaurant with 2 young couples who were friends of my daughters. As we were coming out, an attractive woman in her late 30's called out to me and asked if I was with anyone. Being rather stupid, I didn't realize that she was talking to me and she repeated it. I came to my senses and pointed to my daughter. My daughter loudly proclaimed that I wasn't with anyone as she realized that I was getting propositioned and she wanted me to get laid.

As we left, the lady said to her friend that I was the best looking one of the bunch. Now I am 6'1 and 190 lbs., but I am 62 and the other 2 guys were in their late 20's. As we got into our vehicles, all the girls were laughing about how clueless I was and the guys were pissed that I got the attention. I still get razzed by my daughter about that, but it has been 45 years since I had a date and I wouldn't really know how to act anymore. It is kind of flattering though to be sought out by an aggressive woman, even if I can't take advantage of it.

i think most men want a woman to be aggressive sometimes. being human we are capable of moments of self-doubt. it's nice to have someone who will show you that even as we get older we can still stir passionate feelings in women, the ones we're committed to and also in general. i also appreciate women who are strong and independent in all areas of a relationship. i think it would be very boring to be with someone who had no opinion of their own or where to meek to voice and stand up for their opinions. my wife is an aries and is very passionate in all aspects of her personality and i wouldn't have it any other way. i think in recent years women have become more confident and assertive in general. i know that my daughters will have opportunities that their grandmother or even their mother didn't have. on the flip side of that i have noticed a decline in chivalry and respect for women by young men in our societies. i think our girls need to be shown that being strong does not make them overbearing and that our boys need to be shown that having respect for women makes them stronger men while being disrespectful only shows them for small and scared.

After being shocked(this was 1976) I agreed. This is not the penthouse forum so I will leave the details out.

Pretty much before this men did most of the propositioning and women did the rejecting. I was an old fashioned guy. The dating was like baseball, You had to run the bases before getting a "home run".
That was pretty much a waste of time to have to get to third base and have to go back to the dugout until the next date.

I would say that women are just aggressive enough. That was much easier than going a full nine innings playing third base with a catchers glove.

It's the same now although sometimes women do make me feel uncomfortable. How uncomfortable do you feel when you turn around and some woman is checking you out? I must admit that sometimes it does become quite irritating. Several of my wifes friends have made sexual advances and I rejected all of them. I know what a boobie trap is!

The "new" womens attitude is a mixed blessing. Sometimes the offers are sounding pretty decent. Sometimes the offers are just not, a run in with a dominatrix comes to mind.

Who knows? Had i took up the women with their aggressive sexual innuendo the offers may have stopped. If I was not married? I think for curiosities sake some of the offers I will regret not taking.

I think women are aggressive if the situation calls. I am lucky in that I am in a happy relationship, so I haven't dated for years. But I have a few friends that say that in dating you need to make sure that you are not seen as weak or taken advantage of.....and they are perceived as aggressive.....peace..O.
