Archive Seed Bank Thread?

Seemed the easiest to grow in my space but still the genetics in this cross blatantly mixed well as the plants grow like bamboo and they are tough in response to stress. The health and vigour struck me and I knew I was in for fun and i'd go as far as saying in the top 10 i've seen. they are great to work and tie and yield was satisfying for sure.

Idk It reminds me of sfv in someways with a earthy fuely skunk smell but q bit better.. It's potency is really something else.. smoke strongest.. bombed for hours in a good way, happy, totally numbed, sublime effect.

Packs wise, so far 7 sprouted.. 4 girls.. only flowered 2 so far with 1 very close to flowering.. The males were super handsome as well.

I'd be amazed If almost every grower wouldn't find a space for a cut of RB after trying and seeing it in growth, I really enjoyed working em into SOG.. I would love to get the flavour country but that's out of my league price wise. Sorry i'm a lazy stoned stoner or i'd dig out the phone/micro sd the shots were on and upload em :smoker:

No hermies seen yet in RB, casper and valley for me but only a total of 6 ladies seen from seed,, good looking males seen in all..

I've got hazmat and hellraiser to go..

Does anyone know what is in Archive Tropicali cooks? that is being given out in free 3 seed packs??
:dunno:

:smoke out:

Thanks for the detailed response! Awesome it sounds like it is similar to the sfv, and to hear the strain can be excellent in terms of growth and such sounds too good.

Yeah that Irene OG seems something special..

apart from being a bit of a stretcher, for me about they've all doubled in flower and with some training, not the easiest to SOG lol, as she's a bit jungley but really strong with it.. i'd just give it 5/5 for an OG.. ticks all boxes.. I like the jungley vigour anyway. I need to take some pics of my latest lady :tiphat:

Popped 144 beans, 2 packs of each strain I had, and only had 6 beans not come up. So about 1 bean per pack. Germ rates are good but some of them were slow to show tails mainly the cookie oriented crosses. All the og stuff was very vigorous.

Ok 3 more came up so only 3 out of 144 did not germ. These are from his first and second drops. I had already grown another set of 200 and germ rates were similar.

Cookies crosses are really fuckin slow for the most part...I never pull pots until 8 days after germ+planting so glad I follow this rule.

Awesome! Thank you Lost! That early trichome coverage is always an excellent indication of some good smoke! And the smell sounds so delicious, I gotta get to popping a couple!

Its been slow but my batch of Dosi#22 F2 is finally sexing, so far 3 females out of 10, 2 unknown but I think 5 are males.

Clear water kush is sexing too, got two out of 10 so far.... not the best odds

but im hoping to use the Dosi and CWK males for further stability or breeding a Dosi CWK cross

Rudeboi og @35..

Flowery notes, sherbet, sweet and sugary, slight tropical fruit.. The burns on the leaves are from when a link broke on a chain holding the light, I got off super lucky catching it within a couple hours, the plants held it up and I only had to perform a bit of surgery on two tops and lost 5 or 6 leaves.. They are a bit pH stressed hence P deficiency but I'm doing all I can to keep her happy. I was lucky it was a diy solstrip LED light that fell on them as it has spaces between the strips that the tops mostly poked through, but the other way of looking at it is it's a bit of a heavy light.. Any way I always normally put some back up ties on my lights to prevent this happening again. Happy growing :rasta:

Update. 1/3 of 60 plants of the dosidos crosses are heavily mutated and very slow growing. Larger number than expected seeing as how these are outcrosses. We will see how they turn out though in flowering. They may be complete fire like a lot of blueberry mutants can be. If you are new don't freak out because your plants look like freaks. I am sure it is just from intense inbreeding of the OGKB.

About 3-6~ of 24 plants of all the og crosses seem to be very stunted. Like really slow...I am not sure how he bred his faceoff. I do not think this is a result of inbreeding from that though because it is supposed to be a higher yielding og. It may have just been the batch of soil they are in or possibly not aerated enough as I did not add perlite to those guys and were dropped in straight happy frog. Did not have time to mix my own soil for those. Most likely my fault as I feel it is lack of perlite. They are only in one gallons though and this will be fix for up pot.

I will drop in here mid flowering and let everyone know. I know I have crossed swords with the breeder over lack of info on strains and not paying the advertising bill to help support the site, but I am objective and have no axe to grind. I only troll every once in awhile hah :p So far so good though some dank smells from all lots.

Yeah man it'll be the perlite.. I made that same mistake this last grow but all the other archive og crosses I've ran in grows with the proper drainage were more vigorous than anything else I had going on, eating through soil like monsters..

I feel the same way, cock blocking just over money just isn't in my nature, if someone has done noteworthy work than it should be acknowledged for what it is if it is.. I've got a deep fridge and i'm pulling out the archive gear and loving it over and over so for me Archive deserves at least one thread's worth of recognition on ICmag, which I feel like is often a last bastion of reason over hype fan boy hatred on the cannawebs..

Yeah, I am almost positive it was my fault. I knew it before I did it, just had no time to do some things properly, but knew it wouldn't kill anything at the same time. I figured I would mention it just incase others that did things right had by chance same issue.

It will be pretty awesome seeing them grow in what I spent my time on though =) State of the art lighting and semi-sealed room with lots of head space. C02 and all. Not a new thing of course, but new location and nothing like a fresh clean unused set up.

I hope I don't get screwed on herm % some of these just have it in the genes. I probably should have popped 3 or 4 packs instead of two of each. One issue with my next few runs is running some gear with herm tendencies going to make it a little more stressful. I don't know if any are still left but CSI just dropped a boat load of Chem 91 s1's...25% will herm it's just what it is, like some cookies stuff, but there is some awesome stuff to be found in those beans.

100% germ rates on Dosi #9. Lots of males... 8/12 so far. Doesn't matter really, I have a killer Dosidos f1 to cross all of them to. Only one mutant pheno in the pack. Nice healthy vigorous plants overall.

Sweet I was interested in the 9 ^ he said the other day dosi and crosses definitely aren't a one time thing and I bought all dosi crosses the first go around will probably try straight dosi in the future just to see whats up. Everyone's plants look very good I have seen.
