Could a libertarian really be in favor of democracy? In favor of letting a majority of people vote to force you to do, or not to do, X?
I know it usually 'goes without saying' that people are generally in favor of democracy. Especially when discussing off-the-beaten-path topics like cannabis, though, we should question that.
'Democracy' could be easily defined as 2 wolves and a sheep voting on what's for dinner. I wouldn't want to be the sheep...
or the pot smoker in a democratic society with a majority of people misinformed by widespread propaganda...
